I get that it's a 10+ year old DA journal and probably doesn't reflect how he thinks now, but that entry where he says his old roommate "accomplished so much without trying" bothers me. I understand his feelings but how could he know that his friend WASN'T working hard to achieve his goals?? He should have used those feelings to push himself to improve. But it seems he only knows how to use spite as a motivator.
