Hello, today is December 8th.
Letra
Out here in the fields I fight for my meals I get my back into my living I don't need to fight To prove I'm right I don't need to be forgiven Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Don't cry Don't raise your eye It's only teenage wasteland
Sally, take my hand We'll travel south 'cross land Put out the fire and don't look past my shoulder The exodus is here The happy ones are near Let's get together before we get much older
Teenage wasteland It's only teenage wasteland Teenage wasteland, oh, yeah Teenage wasteland They're all wasted

“Somehow I never got into The Who when I was first discovering 60s and 70s rock music in my early teens in the mid 80s. Jimi Hendrix, oh yes. Led Zeppelin too. Along with Prince they were among the first vinyl records I bought with my own money. I was prompted to give them another listen a few years ago when I read that Baba O’Riley was partly inspired by the contemporary minimalist composer Terry Riley. I’ve been a fan of modern and contemporary classical music for as long as I have pop and rock, getting into Steve Reich as a teenager in the late 80s and Riley’s In C was one of the classic must-hear works I came across. This considerably increased The Who’s credibility in my estimation: here was no ordinary mod rock band, whose initial claim to fame was Pete Townsend smashing his guitar and Keith Moon passing out over his drumkit...” .
