Blurbs
A/N: I don't really plan on this series having a definite ending point, because I don't really see it as a full story and more like a collection of snippets out of Jack's and reader's life and them growing together. Starting with their first meeting, ending someday when I have run out of ideas.

I know ive been on a bit of a Tim drake ride rn but this will be a short one.
Usually tim is called ocationally one of DC's unluckiest heros by the fandom/media for many reasons, in universe i think that wouldnt be all that different, i mean by what gotham knows tim drake,got jokerified, then lost both his parents(who may or may not have said it was bad luck to take him places), then his uncle who is supposed to be his caretaker cant be bothered to see him so he got shipped off to wayne manor with a guy whos last kid died under "unexplained circumstances" and the other one ran away to bludhaven the moment he had the chance. And Bruce is canonically extremly depressed during all this.
So in all ways tim is told he is/has bad luck, and i cant see tim not believing that himself.
YET, one person canonicaly sees Tim as a good luck charm, who can protect him from bad things happening. That person is my homie Bernard Dowd.

WHY:
Core connections (What do they have in common):
1. Both are teachers and father figures to the main protagonists of their stories, serving important roles in molding the fighting styles of others (Qrow taught Ruby how to fight using a scythe and Eraserhead forced Midoriya to learn control over his Quirk at the beginning of Midoriya’s time at UA and later taught Hitoshi Shinso in his capture scarf martial art).
2. Both mourn the loss of a beloved team member and friend as a result of their fights against an immortal evil (Qrow mourns the loss of team leader Summer Rose due to their fight against the immortal Salem as part of Ozpin’s secret group while Eraserhead mourns the loss of Oboro Shirakumo who was killed and turned into Kurogiri by the efforts of the undying OFA and Dr. Garaki).
3. Their fighting styles contrast each other: while both emphasize mobility, agility, and using the terrain to their advantage, Qrow uses weapons that distance him from his opponent (Harbinger is a scythe that can mechanically shift into either a sword or a shotgun and back) but is terrible in hand to hand whereas Eraserhead can fight and disarm opponents up close due to his martial arts training and scarf-like capture weapons as well as caltrops, but can’t fight for long periods of time against large numbers of enemies despite his extremely high stamina.
4. Their signature superpowers are opposite in several ways: Qrow’s Semblance is Misfortune, which causes bad luck around him and unlike most Semblances, it’s eternally active and can never turn off. Its effects can lead to incidents as small as a glass being knocked onto the floor or as significant as impacting an entire fight. On the other hand, Eraserhead has Erasure, which allows him to disable the Quirk of whomever he’s looking at, but extended use causes him serious dry eye, and it has easy tell for when he activates it, so he wears goggles so his foes can’t tell who he’s disabling. Semblances in RWBY are powered by Aura, a product of the soul, whereas Quirks are genetic in nature and manifest biologically. Where one is spiritual, one is genetic in nature, one is eternally active while the other is activated at will but both are detrimental to their users and others.
Personal reasons (Why I want this battle/like this MU):
Therewolf Media’s commissioned track "Erased Luck" sparked my interest in this MU, and as a fan of both series, it’s safe to say that I haven’t really looked back since then. I doubt this MU will ever get an episode as Qrow has more popular MUs, but I can dream.

THE FIGHT:
Art and animation:
Given that all RWBY fights as of now have been in 3D, I’m pretty sure that this fight would be done in 3D as well, but I haven’t been able to find a model for Eraserhead, so it’s likely that a new one will have to be made. It’s either that, or sprites will need to be made for the combatants. There was a One Minute Melee for Eraserhead way back in 2018 (Kakashi vs Aizawa (Naruto vs Boku No Hero Academia) One Minute Melee S6 EP3) which was done with sprites, so maybe those can be reused, meaning only sprites for Qrow will be needed.
Setup:
In the darkness of a city, we see the underground Erasure Hero, Shota Aizawa aka Eraserhead dealing with simple mooks and things as per his patrolling duties. As he travels from rooftop to rooftop until he sees… A drunk man who was also beating up some common goons. The man is good at his job, but public intoxication means he’s breaking the law. Sooner or later, he’s going to get someone hurt and himself into trouble. Either way, he needed to apprehend the man.
As Qrow is about to beat the final jobber out, Aizawa throws his capture scarf at the man’s wrist, successfully stopping the Huntsman.
“Hold it. Doing your job while drunk is going to get you into trouble. Come with me.”
Qrow pulls his wrist away from the weapon. “I’m busy here. Go away. Or do you want some of me?” Qrow then draws his weapon, getting into a fighting stance.
Eraserhead pulls back his capture weapon and gets ready.
FIGHT!
1. Qrow turns Harbinger into its shotgun form and unloads, but Eraserhead, seeing where Qrow’s aiming, moves out of the way before the trigger is pulled. Seeing that his foe is closing in, Qrow returns his weapon to its sword form and does a slash, but not before Eraser punches him in the face and sends him upward, following up by wrapping Qrow’s leg with the capture weapon and then sending him down. Qrow turns into his corvid form and escapes the capture weapon.
2. Eraserhead uses Erasure, causing Qrow to turn back into his human form. He crashes into the ground, rolling and tumbling, but Qrow shifts his body and gets himself back on his feet. So this guy can cancel out his powers. Eraserhead then throws his capture weapon again, but Qrow reacts quickly, grabs the weapon, and yanks on it, pulling Aizawa toward him and catching him off guard. Erasure is still active, so he’s just that strong- oof! Now, Qrow is the one punching Eraserhead in the face, causing Eraserhead to blink and sending him backward.
3. Eraserhead then kicks a dumpster at Qrow who promptly turns his weapon into a scythe and slices the giant trash can, the pieces of which crash into the surrounding buildings. Qrow runs at his opponent, but Aizawa pulls a Spider-Man and uses his capture weapon to grapple onto nearby phone lines and swings upward. Upon landing, he starts running on the phone line. Qrow shifts his weapon back to its gun form and fires. Qrow can’t shift back into his corvid form, that guy is using his powers.
4. Eraserhead disarms Qrow by grabbing his weapon with his scarf and then throwing it to the other side of the street. Aizawa then jumps towards Qrow who attempts to punch Aizawa, but Aizawa kicks him first. However, Aizawa, for however brief an instant, blinked, and Qrow held his position and punched Aizawa hard, getting in an unlucky shot for the opponent right in the solar plexus, sending him into the side of a building. Qrow quickly turns into a bird to get Harbinger back, but Aizawa comes out of the debris running, this time with his knife. His usual tactics aren’t working: he’s too strong even without his Quirk, and his weapon makes him really dangerous. They crash into an empty multi-floor parking lot with concrete beams that are starting to suffer damage from their fight.
5. Qrow slashes and cuts, but Eraserhead dodges and even parries, but the force imparted by Harbinger makes his arm dull and ache; it’s clearly too much for him. Aizawa then kicks Qrow in the stomach, making him back off, but Qrow changes Harbinger into its scythe mode again, and starts to slash at Aizawa, but Eraserhead keeps dodging. One particular slash gives Eraserhead an opening, so he grabs Qrow’s arm and pulls the dusty old bird toward him and performs several slashes, Qrow’s Aura flickering. Qrow’s response is to headbutt Aizawa, which makes the Erasure Hero stagger just long enough for Qrow to slash Aizawa, tearing a lot of his clothes. Aizawa wrapped the Huntsman in his binding cloth, and with a fluid motion of his arms, pulled the bad luck charm towards him with one arm and then grabbed him with his other arm and knees Qrow in the face like he did Dabi, and then, also like Dabi, slammed Qrow face first into the ground and broke one of his arms.
6. “Aaahhh! Damn it!” “Comply or your other arm is next!” Unfortunately for Eraser, the parking lot that they were fighting in was starting to fall apart from their scuffle, and a large chunk of concrete falls on Aizawa, weakening the strength of the binding cloth enough for Qrow to escape and with Harbinger, slashes the binding cloth. As Qrow is about to go in for the kill, another piece of concrete falls and hits him, his Aura flickering more. The Erasure Hero recovers just a bit and sees that his capture weapon is slashed and that he lost his knife. He activates Erasure again, and attempts to knock out Qrow with a well-placed punch. Qrow, unfortunately for the UA teacher, had recovered much faster than desired and was going in for a killing slash.
7. Aizawa lands the punch, causing the cape-wearing reaper’s Aura to finally shatter, but the battle is taking its toll on both as they stagger backward and fall. It gets worse as the lot’s beams have taken too much damage on the part of Qrow’s power. The pieces of the building starts to come down, and the rubble falls
8. Qrow’s Misfortune, while not active at the current moment, had doomed them both, and both teachers break for the exit, Aizawa running and Qrow turning into a bird but then resorting to running on the account of his broken limb. The loser is whomever was the more unlucky one.
9. SCENARIO 1: Aizawa is the unlucky one. The debris falls more and more, but Qrow attempts to turn into his corvid form one more time and is able to fly with a lot of effort. Aizawa isn’t so lucky as a lot of broken infrastructure falls on him and buries him. The building collapses and Qrow transforms back into his human form, Harbinger in one hand and broken bones in the other.
10. SCENARIO 2: Qrow is the unlucky one. The building starts to collapse, so the two teachers run. Qrow is able to turn into his corvid form, but his broken limb is now a broken wing, so flying takes a lot of effort, and unfortunately for him, he can’t move fast enough and ends up crushed under the rubble as Aizawa is able to make his escape. Qrow was unlucky to the very end.

STATS: QROW. This is not as close as one would think. Qrow cratering and slicing through concrete during his fight with Winter in Vol 3. and generating a shockwave that slices distant buildings as seen in his fight with Tyrian in Vol. 4 makes him a lot stronger than Aizawa, and Aura gives him greater durability. Aizawa has been shown that he can’t take a hit well like when Toga stabbed him. Heck, Aizawa was able to easily amputate himself.
SKILL: AIZAWA. With his Capture Weapon and martial arts skill, Aizawa is the better trained fighter. Qrow can deal immense damage without his weapons as seen in his fight with Tyrian in RWBY Vol. 4, but Aizawa can also break arms as seen in his confrontation with the Dabi double and won’t hesitate if his life is on the line.
ARSENAL: QROW. Harbinger is a much better weapon than Eraserhead’s Capture Weapon and caltrops, being able to attack from a distance via its shotgun functionality and is overall the more lethal tool. Given that Aizawa could amputate himself with his own knife, Qrow should be able to easily deal a killing blow with Harbinger and his superior strength. Qrow can also easily shrug off Aizawa’s Capturing Weapon and dodge his caltrops with his Corvid Form.

Sound/Composition:
Given that Therewolf already made a commissioned track for this MU, I think it would be best if he does it for an official episode. The song starts with the tense drums like Bad Luck Charm with some industrial-like guitars starting to sound like in the first 20 seconds of Bousou Sentou. The song is meant to have a very 2000s or 1990s vibe, from the industrial/electronic feel of Bousou Sentou and the emo sounds of Bad Luck Charm. However, I think that those sorts of genres work best with Brandon Yates, so I’m not opposed to this being a collab.
Name/Title:
MISFORTUNE ERASURE
The name makes reference to Thereworlf’s track, directly referencing Qrow’s Semblance and Aizawa’s Quirk.

IDEAS THAT I HAD:
1. Eraserhead is out to arrest Qrow because of his long list of crimes (grand theft auto, stealing a government vehicle, killing an officer, damaging government property, resisting arrest, public intoxication, and helping in bringing down Atlas resulting in many losing their lives and many more losing their homes).
2. As part of a tournament setup or exchange program, Qrow and Eraserhead fight in a tournament setting to represent their schools.
3. Have a setup similar to the Kakashi vs Aizawa OMM: Aizawa is searching for one of his students while Qrow is out on a mission with some of his students in search of someone who looks like Aizawa. One of Qrow’s students, most likely Yang, finds Aizawa and attempts to fight him only to end up defeated and restrained, causing Qrow and Aizawa to fight.
4. Qrow’s Semblance getting erased helps him more than it does Aizawa: it could cancel out the shapeshifting, but upon cancelling Erasure, Qrow is able to fight much better.
5. Qrow uses his capture scarf to disarm Qrow, making Qrow fight unarmed, which has one of two outcomes: Qrow gets beaten and manhandled until he recovers his weapon or he lands an (un)lucky shot against Aizawa’s face like he did against Tyrian.
6. Aizawa captures Qrow using his Capturing Weapon but Qrow turns into his Corvid Form, letting him escape and befuddling Aizawa.
7. Qrow cuts the Capturing Weapon, forcing Aizawa to use lethal force.
8. The loser, regardless of whom, dies to Misfortune causing a piece of a building to fall on him. The battle leaves the environment heavily damaged that by the time Qrow’s Aura peters out, the damage is too much so the environment deals the killing blow without the need of Misfortune.
9. Aizawa kicks a dumpster as means to use the environment to his advantage, but Qrow turns into his corvid form and dodges
10. Qrow attempts to use his corvid form, but Erasure makes him tumble.
11. Eraserhead runs on the rooftops or phone lines like in his fight against Momo and Todoroki and Qrow shoots him like he shot at Winter

FINAL THOUGHTS AND WORDS
I really want this fight to happen, but I struggled a lot with this one like with my Toga VS Neo idea. I want to say that I was limited by the powers of the characters, but I was able to work well with Iida and All Might who don’t have vast arsenals. It’s fights like these where I wish I had skills like Monty Oum or Torrian Crawford to make RWBY fights. Sorry if this fight wasn’t my best. I’ll be striving to do better.

NEXT TIME…!
Hellboy was investigating a European town, somewhere near Rome. Apparently, there were a lot of demons running around, a portal to Hell was opened up, and a giant statue starting to move. No need for psychics to tell him that something was up. For a town called Fortuna, it doesn’t seem to be very lucky. Especially once he was given a quick rundown via dossier. It was ruled over by a demon called Sparda for a long time, and was worshipped by a group called “The Order of the Sword” which was lead by a former pope called Sanctus. However, the Order was up to shady stuff. These “Ascension Rituals” were really scummy, turning humans into demons. Then there was that giant statue, The Savior…
“Yeesh… What a town.”
“Hellboy, get ready. We’re approaching the drop off point.”
“Good. Let’s get this over with.”
Hellboy doesn’t jump off the transport, rather he just steps out and falls. As he descends, he sees that there are demons running around and hurting innocent people, so he lands on some of the unholy bastards, splattering the human blood that they were consuming.
“Hey, you! Red guy!”
Hellboy turns around and sees a young man with silver hair and a mechanical arm.
“Yeah?” Hellboy lights a cigarette.
“I appreciate you taking down those demons, but you need to leave. This place is dangerous.”
“I’m a paranormal investigator, kid. I’m here on a job. I can’t leave until I find out what’s going on with this town. I can handle this on my own, and I can’t have dead weight, or worse, a possible casualty on my hands.”
Nero doesn’t like the look of the guy. He’s gotta be a demon, not just because of his red skin and stumps on his forehead, but that giant stony right arm of his and tail. He draws Blue Rose and aims.
“Dead weight? I’ll show you dead weight.”
Hellboy draws his gun. “I guess we’re not gonna get along.”
Let me start off by saying that I'm excited to see another RWBY fight and this one makes me feel like we might have more equal ground here. With that said, I do have some thoughts.
In "WHY 3." you said that Qrow wasn't good at hand-to-hand, but I think this might be false since he went toe-to-toe with Tyrian in hand-to-hand AND was training Ruby and Oscar as well. I dunno if he's good as Eraserhead, but I'd say Qrow isn't exactly a slouch, either.
In "Art and Animation," you mentioned having trouble finding a 3D Eraserhead model. Might I suggest My Hero: One's Justice (or 2 if the sequel is more your preference)?
In "The Setup", Qrow seems awful confrontational. But that's kinda how he is with authority figures like Winter and Ironwood. Makes sense.
In "The Fight", Eraserhead's quirk dispels Qrow's transformation into a bird, HOWEVER I was under the impression that quirks are not magic and can only affect others via non-magical means, ergo, latin, Qrow should've maintained his bird form.
Also, for Qrow's broken arm, couldn't he use his aura to heal the broken limb, since it was proven to be capable of doing so (granted, the example is Jaune healing another person's arm with his semblance, not too mention especially grievous wounds can't be healed like Ironwood's arm in V7)?
Both scenarios are kinda weak, if you ask me. I mean, I like the idea of Qrow's semblance dooming one or the other, but it feels kinda like a cop-out, in my opinion, to not have either one be more active in the other's demise.
A neat fight, but I think it could be better.
Overall, this looked like a fun battle, and I'd also like to see this fight animated some day!
