2025 Donation Sales

I posted this to Instagram first(I don't have much option at the moment for reach) but I have also posted it here and Blusky while I figure out my begrudging social media use.

These years are going to be a fight. I'm truly too burnt out at the moment to really express how things have made me feel, and I know the sentiment is widespread but will we keep trying. In honor of MLK day, I've decided that starting in February I will be selling these 3D printed keychains and earrings for donations to three organizations for young WOC, trans peeps and trans POC. Either option will be $7USD total with $5 being donated. For both(a keychain and pair of earrings) it will be $15 with $13 going to charity. This will include untracked shipping within the US. Outside the US or to include tracking will be an extra $5. Did you know that on any night there are half a million Americans sitting in jail who are eligible for bail? There are so many people who were arrested for nonviolent/minor infractions who can’t go home to their family or go to work because they can’t pay bail. And they’re just sitting, awaiting trial. That can take months!

The Bail Project pays bail for people that are unable to afford their bail or have unreasonably high bails. They let out people that are legally innocent — not a threat to society.

The cash-bail system is hella fucked and disproportionately affects low-income communities and people.

Politically conscious rappers aren't nearly as popular today, but the message always finds its way to the music. Popular rapper Lil Baby released "Bigger Picture" after the recent death of George Floyd and the racial protests that followed. The anthem, which demands a stop to police brutality, garnered more than 65 million audio and video streams in its first two weeks, according to Nielsen Music. In an Instagram post, Lil Baby said that the proceeds from the song will benefit organizations like the National Association of Black Journalists, the attorneys for the family of Breonna Taylor, who died at the hands of Louisville police, the Black Lives Matter movement and The Bail Project.
