Pride Project 2021

Last year, I decided to take it upon myself to do an art project because all of the pride events were cancelled, everything was shitty and hopeless, and I was hoping that this would at least put a smile on someone’s face. It ended up nearly taking up to January 2021. At the back of my sketchbook for last year’s project, I decided to draw some pride flags, but I didn’t manage to draw many and they were only a small part of that project.

This year, I decided to make pride flags my entire project. Every day for each of the 30 days of June, I am uploading a TikTok video of me drawing less represented flags of people in the alphabet mafia, as well as taking a dive into the traditional flags, where we started and where we are now. Also, since this is a less demanding project compared to last year (full illustrations every day for June 2020), I will be able to finish it in June.
