First Post on my new art blog! ✨🌟

I figured I'd kick start my first post on this blog by sharing a mood board of things that inspire me - From a couple of my favorite artists I admire, ranging from animators or storyboard artists that worked on shows/cartoons/anime/video games to artists that inspire me online from all corners of the internet via Twitter, Newgrounds etc.

This could become an occasional thing of mine to post, so if you're interested, then please let me know!

I've posted the mood board and my thoughts on it over on Bluesky, so I thought I share this on here as well!

This here is an influence map/mood board I made all the way back in 2019 (You may recognize most of these and if you do, let's be moots!), all of them are still recognized as my inspirations to this very day, as it was more of an exploration trying to figure out the vibe and style I'm going for in my works. Probably might post mini analysis/essays on artists/animators I'm inspired by if I'm in the mood for it.

Thinking of making or remaking a new one in the near future, but for now have this!

There's a lot of art styles I've seen over the years that inspire my art, but here are those that are on top of my list that stood out to me the most! Anything with bold lines, bright flashy colours that pop and have energetic, sharp or squishy shapes, Im instantly in💗!

💖 Yu-Gi-Oh! (DM and DSOD) - The art style specifically for me were whenever Takahiro Kagami directed some episodes. I WISH I COULD EAT HIS ART STYLE! He's the 🐐 for his signature art style! (along with Kazunori too!)

💖 Baron Ueda - I need to get his art books, cuz his art style is immaculate! ⭐️🌟✨(If anybody who has his art books in a high quality PDF format then please let me know, cuz I really need them in my collection!)
