Thanks for the tip, Anon! These are not headshots though… this is a spread for 19 magazine. More of a fashion/personality focus. These are not for auditions or getting gigs and these are also for a distinctly American audience. She looks lovely though.

ALSO: I will not post any comparisons because as I have pointed out, these are apples and oranges.

Okay, so again I am asking for proof that Delainey is more protected and you don’t have it, so….

Not that anon, but surely the lack of hard criticism that other cast members have faced is the proof itself? I don’t mean critique of her acting skills which is fair for all the cast when done in good faith, but more the mean, personal, trolling and abuse that has been aimed at the rest of them. And the absence of evidence is inherently difficult to prove because it requires demonstrating that something does not exist, rather than that it does.

Hm. Interesting. I remember some nonsense on X about her being British instead of American and accusations that she (and Bailey) was mixed race (which, 🙄).

It’s a very “in-group” complaint to have and I believe it was an unfair slam that was irrelevant.

This isn't necessarily surprising since Delainey is 6 or so years older than Bailey, but I found her a much stronger actress than Bailey, as good as Bailey was. Her emotional depth is tremendous.

I hear that. But I found Bailey’s portrayal more accessible. Her iciness in S1, Eps 6 & 7 were epic. Whereas I struggled with Delainey’s trial interpretation. BUT, I may be coming around the corner on that…. if that interpretation was colored by Armand, I think that would br the real issue and not her acting.

One thing that bothered me a lot—the lack of romantic interaction with Madeline, not sure if that was a choice. But it was disappointing.

I like her, but I’m personally not a Delainey stan. I really struggled with her interpretation of Claudia at the trial.

I like her and I think she gives a powerful performance, but her interpretation of Claudia is so different from Bailey's and to the show's detriment. Tbf -- it's not all her, a lot of it is writing her as so much more naive and trusting than in S1 without doing the bridgework to show how she got from Point A -> Point B. But uh... to your point on other asks, her accent is a huge impediment in her early episodes to taking her seriously as New Claudia.
