justice fairness in the way people are dealt
Having left court in 1555, Ursula Dudley re-joins the circular of King William III at Hampton Court as Countess of Pembroke and mother of two. At her reintroduction, she is afforded the opportunity to play in le Chateau Vert against her inner wishes. Before she can open her mouth to object, she is named justice - either in jest, or in honest sincerity by manner of the dowager queen. With her children kept from the inner sanctum, Ursula makes her way through the celebration, her arm entwined with her husband’s.
