Review of mixsoon's Bean Essence
mixsoon is a Korean brand that's derived from the English word "mix" and the Korean word "soon", which translates as "pure". It is a brand that's dedicated to clean beauty with minimal ingredients. Their Bean Essence is designed to exfoliate and hydrate textured skin with zero skin irritation. Key ingredients include: lactobacillus/soybean ferment extract (soothing, anti-inflammatory, improves skin barrier function, ideal for sensitive skin), lactobacillus/punica granatum (pomegranate) fruit ferment extract (enhances hydration, antioxidant protection, reduces redness and irritation), saccharomyces/barley seed ferment filtrate (hydrating, soothing, supports skin barrier function), and lactobacillus/pear juice ferment filtrate (hydrating, soothing, supports skin microbiome, reduces irritation). This product retails for between $25-35 USD. You can get it here for $35 + shipping. You can use my rewards code: DMR1986 to save some money on your order.

To quickly note, I received this for free from Picky and mixsoon in exchange for my honest review.
The essence contains 50 ml (1.69 oz) and is fragrance-free.
This has a very tacky texture similar to products with snail secretion filtrate.
It actually spreads out well considering how tacky it is.
It absorbs well and doesn't leave a sticky finish.
Recommended use is to dispense a few drops of essence into the hand, then gently tap over the face and neck. It’s also vegan and cruelty-free. After using, the essence is extremely hydrating and gentle. I didn’t notice any issues, and the ingredients are free from irritants. This is a nice alternative to something like snail secretion filtrate. It doesn't have a fragrance, and it's particularly ideal for those with sensitive skin. I'd recommend this to anyone, honestly.
What I like: it's super hydrating, has a fun texture, and doesn't leave a super tacky finish. It has lovely ingredients and no fragrance. It's an amazing option for sensitive skin, and it's beneficial to any skin type. What I don't like: honestly, nothing.
