with the events of the newest chapter, i've come to the realization that my assumption of how demon kings possessing human vessels works was largely incorrect,,

because reiji's clearly still in there and seems to be the one calling the shots. are he and astaroth like. merged? are they one in the same? or is it a situation like rin and demon rin? i would love to learn more about this, i hate not knowing exactly how something works lol

Because the tail is one of the most vulnerable/sensitive parts of a demon, I like to imagine it feels really good to be scratched, especially close to where the tail connects to the back. And that maybe a lot of them haven't figured this out because they keep it hidden for safety

The potential for erogenous zones due to the sensitivity is also fun to think about :D
