Guess Who's Back...

Okay, so I know that I have been active on here, but this month I'm officially "coming back" to writing and tumblr/my website etc. Baby girl is very happy and thriving, and I am... surviving 😅 I do have a surgery shortly pending, but we'll get into that another time.

After the results of my feedback form I put out to everyone (thank you for your input by the way!), I'm bringing with me some changes, so let's get into them, shall we?

Firstly, I am not planning on returning to work after my official maternity leave in work, and I'm hoping to make a full time career out of writing, whether that's fan fiction, original fiction or some other forms of commerical writing (or a nice healthy mixture). Which is both extremely daunting and incredibly exciting all at once!

NEW POSTING SCHEDULE

Saturdays: Series/Mini Series update

1st and 3rd Wednesday of the Month: Member Exclusive Fics*

2nd and 4th Wednesday of the Month: Oneshot

*On my website only - Member exclusive fics are returning in October

PRICE INCREASE NOTICE

Due to my writing time being so much more valuable now there's less of it, I've made the decision to increase my prices slightly. The increase will come into affect on the 15th September, so there's still time to sign up at the current lower price (and that will be the price you always pay for as long as you sign up).

Membership Prices:

First Base: £3 per month

Second Base: £5 per month (Very limited spaces available)

Third Base: £12 per month (currently unavailable)

All the Way: £20 per month (currently FULL)

This price increase is also to reflect my new commission prices, which are as followed:

Non-Members Price: £10 per 1K words

Members Price: £8 per 1K words

COMMISSIONS RE-OPENING SOON

I'm currently playing catch up with my waiting list, and once it's at a manageable level, I'll be re-opening my commissions. I'll make sure to announce it, so if you're interested in a commission, watch this space!

Patreon vs My Website

Want to support me but you're not sure if you should sign up to my website or Patreon? Here are some FAQs that might help you decide!

What is the difference between your Patreon page and your Website?

As you may know, Patreon censor the content posted on their site (eg. Dark fics, wincest, even some BDSM content is getting flagged now). I do not have this issue on my own website, I am in control of what I post on my website. So I am limited on what can be shared on Patreon. The next few fics I have in the works are suitable, and so they will be available 4 weeks early on Patreon, but members exclusive content will not be going on there. Patreon does have previously posted exclusive fics on there (all these can also be found on my website + more) at a reduced monthly rate of £1.50.

Do I need to be signed up to both?

Not at all, there's no reason why you'd need to be signed up to both. If you want my recommendation, I'd suggest my website over Patreon so you get more for your money and new exclusive content.

Are you leaving Patreon?

Whilst I currently have no plans to delete my page, as I have been flagged in the past for posting content against their guidelines, there is a high possibility I will be forcibly removed without warning. I do not want my work to be censored, so I made the jump before I was pushed. I will keep my Patreon page active with suitable fics and access to exclusive fics on there for as long as they’ll have me.

Does your website have an app?

My website is hosted by WordPress, so you’ll be able to use their app to access my content on your phone.

Have you moved all of your Patreon exclusive content over to your website?

Everything I was able to move, I did. The exceptions being any content (eg. screenshots for ‘texting fics’) where I no longer have the original photos to post. I also did not move any of my Marvel content over, as Disney are cracking down on copyright infringement. 99% of the exclusive content made it over to my website.
