Tonight’s #beersandscares feature has us watching 1992 film Candyman while enjoying @burlingtonbeer’s very fitting honey double IPA Beekeeper. This film is fitting to fit with our Black History Month theme we have been featuring all month but this film captures racial tensions while also delivering an amazing love story and slasher film. Tonight’s #beersandscares feature has us watching 2019 film @doctorsleepmovie while enjoying @longlivebeerworks Prissint. Doctor Sleep is a pretty all around amazing movie, capturing elements of the The Shining while introducing so many new elements but almost seamlessly weaving them together. This easily would have made top four of 2019 had I seen it in 2019, so shame on me for “sleeping” on this and Parasite. Beer-wise, these Long Live Beerworks, one of my favorite spots hailing out of Providence, Prissint is going down way to easy. This is a super tasty double IPA with New Zealand hops and is one of my favorites. Here’s another Beers and Scares feature as tonight I’m viewing the 2016 South Korean film Train to Busan while enjoying Tango, a New England IPA from @treehousebrewco out of Charlton, MA. This film is an absolute gem as it captures the anticipation and anxiety you want from a zombie outbreak film while also having heart, really capturing the good, bad and ugly of human kind.
