Practicing something for an art trade, here's a sneak peek
It's been a bit since I've drawn Mario, but I like the challenge of feeling out what I like about his design and what I wanna add to give him my own flair~

5. tv shows that cheer you up friends, the dick van dyke show, arrested development, the office, it’s always sunny in philadelphia
9. a quote that you would consider getting tattooed or putting in a frame that quote that goes “what i got don’t need beads” from a letter to three wives would be a hot tattoo
12. if you could make a candle that smelt like anything, what would you pick? my old room! i had gardenias and various other plants growing right by my window, our front yard was at the foot of a hill and a little creek ran through the back yard, and it was always warm so it always smelled like summertime
26. the film you watched most recently that you could watch again and again i just finished funny face a little while ago! i could watch that movie until the end of time
thank you darling!!
I didn't want to derail that other post about different animals having different needs, but it's pretty much why I can't fuck with vegans who are anti-honey, because it just betrays how ignorant they are about the realities of, 1. where their food comes from (who do you think polinates all the plants on the farms where your food is grown? it ain't wild bees, that's for damn sure), 2. just how much better a life honeybees have under the care of a beekeeper
like I subscribe to a beekeeper's youtube channel and it's crazy how many calls he gets about wild hives that have formed inside people's houses. But instead of calling an exterminator, they can just call a beekeeper like him to come remove the bees and set them up in a new box hive. and he always makes sure to preserve all of the comb they've made unless it's infected with parasites or started to ferment.
which brings me to my next point, the number of wild hives this guy rescues that have started to fail and would all but certainly die out if left to their own devices. Instead, they're given a new home, fresh food, regular checkups to remove mites and worms... maybe even a new queen if their hive lost theirs. basically, everything for a new lease on life.
tl;dr competent beekeepers not only love bees but are so much better for the little gals than leaving them to their own devices.
