Honestly the Automaton Collective has a point. Who WOULDN'T want a heart of steel?
Ok, so SEAF is canonically shelling Automaton and Cyborg refugees as they try to flee. Thank you Arrowhead for reminding the playerbase who's the bad guy here, even though a lot of yanks players still won't get it. I like to headcanon that most of them went to the places the Helldivers gave up on attacking. Places like Camrat For, Solidaritet, Lurza, and Ursoot Nine proving to be a safe haven for the Collective's civil society. Reiterating: I have a VERY strong feeling that there is something TRULY gnarly waiting for us at Transcendence. Very soon, the Helldivers will feel its steely bite.
Ok, so it's finally over. The Helldivers overextended and pulled out from Cyberstan. 4 out of the planet's 8 megafactories have been destroyed, while the Helldiver death toll on that one planet alone lies just under 200 million, surpassing all the battles with the Illuminate's Great Host along with the Battle for Super Earth. NO one came out without being deeply scarred. The benefits to Super Earth were symbolic at best, and the only thing their invasion DID succeed in doing, is kicking a giant, steely, VERY angry hornet's nest. I, for one, cannot WAIT for the Collective's inevitable counterattack.
I want the Automatons to throw 1000-THRs in our direction >:(
Come on, Cyberstan! SHOW US THE SUPREME MACHINE
Super Earth is doing everything to cry otherwise, but the truth is that the Helldivers and the SEAF are going to leave Cyberstan limping, with their tail between their legs.
Sure, the DSS is shelling the planet's surface to no end, but it's going to be cold comfort. Fact is, the campaign was a lukewarm success at best, and a steely bite of a failure at worst.
For reference, when the Illuminate invaded Super Earth, they lost. But out of the planet's seven megacities, only two were left standing.
On Cyberstan, only half of the megafactories fell. Transcendence in particular having proven to be borderline unassailable.
I, for one, cannot WAIT to see the Collective's counterattack. This is getting very narratively interesting.
Yes I am going to continue with the Collectiveposting and no you can't stop me. Can't keep her down.
