The Kingdom of Belind is the northernmost nation on the western side of the Fuhranii mountains. A smaller mountain range surrounds the castle and capital city. The nation is supported by its geological advantages: the mountains, the forests, and the sea. As such, Belind has a decent naval force for trade and defense.
Belind has a strong stance on neutrality. Their common ancestry with Ehvera makes the relationship between the two kingdoms slightly better than Belind’s treatment of other nations. For decades, the kingdom has been unwavering in their decision to stay out of foreign conflict, only protecting themselves. The monarchy has always made it very clear that, while they enjoy negotiations and trade with their neighbors, no official alliances will be made.
The people are more individualistic than other nations, though not to the degree of Tsunizar. The Bellish are comfortable with interaction both domestically or internationally, but their attention centers around their own lives.
Physical magic is commonplace here. One of Belind’s ancestrial figures is Sohl, a legendary mage whose master of physical aspects has gone uncontested ever since his lifetime. In that regard, he is often mentioned among Jule and Verne. Of the physical magic types, minor shapeshifting or chameleon abilities are common. Some users can shift among species, either fully or partially. This is rare, and even rarer are those who can shift fully into multiple species. The physical abilities are not limited to themselves, and some users can operate on other people. This makes Belind’s medical field matched only by Ehvera’s. Where Ehvera has a strong influence in healing, Belind has a reputation for surgical procedures.

Luxan is the official language.
Due to the prevalence of easy surgery, as well as physical users being able to alter themselves without aid, Belind has the highest population of trans people who have transitioned (including Queen Katerin).
The northern peak of the Fuhranii Mountain Range is owned by Belind, a fact that is often overlooked when Ehvera and Tsunizar are more commonly associated with it.
The Bellish people’s knowledge of physical form helps in their study of biology, and many magic users have excelled in relevant fields.
