This isn’t platonic. JRoth is creating something truly beautiful between Clarke and Bellamy. I think he’s been making us wait such a long time so we can realize just how much Bellarke is supposed to be together. They’re meant for each other. A lot of shows “rush” relationships. But that’s why Bellamy and Clarke’s relationship is so special. The two of them know each other better than any other character on the show——and maybe even throughout all TV history. The subtle glances the two give each other, the camera pans the directors use when interacting with them both, the heartfelt conversations, it’s ALL building up to something bigger than I think any of us are expecting. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m in it for the long hall with this show. It may take five more seasons for JRoth to make it happen, but I’m ready for it. Strap me in tight, cause I’m prepared for one emotional rollercoaster ride.
PS. Josephine is cool and all (she’s a great agtagonist for this season and if they plan to redeem her character in coming seasons, I’m down for it) but she’s not better than Clarke. It blows my mind that some of you prefer her over our lovely blonde princess😭😭
