@bellsliturgy liked for a starter!
Kiryu had insisted it was fine. A little walk, some quiet. The noise didn't often send Nishiki into a stressed out mess, but Kiryu knew how to diffuse things when it did. Some quiet time would do Nishiki some good, and hopefully come back feeling better by the time dinner was ready.
Even still, Nishiki felt guilty for leaving Kiryu and Haruka to handle the younger eight kids. Walking away, he couldn't help but wonder if he should still stay close, in case they needed the extra help. But, he would end up forcing himself to walk further down the road.
Eventually, he'd set up spot for himself on the beach not too far from the orphanage, but far enough that he couldn't easily hear the kids from where he was.
Umbrella up, strong sun screen rubbed into his skin, and just taking in the ambient sounds of the beach, their neighborhood. Staring out into the sea, he was wondering if he was up for approaching it and getting a little wet. ...Nah. He really didn't want to bother with removing his prosthesis right now.
