Day 8: JOMPBPC: Best Character Development

Something I've been nothicing about Perry's Jealousyness at the PnF and MML shows. So, in "It's about time", when Doof is fighting a new nemesis, Perry gets so jealous, and so sad, that he just QUIT HIS JOB!

Cause without fighting exclusively with Heinz, his job doesn't have sense anymore, and in MML when Doof quit Evil to become Professor Time and starts to do Good, Perry didn't quite his job!

He was still working and fighting lots of other evil people, that wasn’t a "specific one nemesis", but the point is, Perry was still working cause Heinz didn't have an "other" anymore! And It's interresting think about it, because Perry doesn't have no more reasons to see Doof, but in MML he still does!

And when they broke up at season 2, Perry in that time founds out a new motive to support Heinz even more, when he starts to use the money he was receiving from OWCA from his other missions, to give it to Heinz for him realizes his most good dream.

In summary, Perry supports Doof. He cares about him. He helps his family. He is his best friend. His partner in NOT crime. And his rock and safe place to heard bout all his childhood's traumas and daily basis problems.

Everyone always says that Perry is more important for Heinz than Heinz is for Perry, but at the end of the day, Perry needs Heinz even more, he is his reason for living. And that's reason enough in my view.

reminders about bakugou katsuki:

he's NOT an early riser and early sleeper, as what most fanfics claim him to be

he sleeps at like 8:30 and wakes up at noon (according to his ma in that one episode where he's brushing his teeth aggressively)

his other female friend (aka the one he kinda tolerates more) is not ashido mina but jirou kyouka

there was absolutely NO reason for katsuki to mention ochako's "roundness" but he did, in addition to acknowledging her guts

it makes sense for him to be an early sleeper and late riser??? bro spends his entire day doing everything 100% from brushing his teeth, to studying, to working out. ofc he's gonna get tired the minute he hits the hay

this is not to say he doesn't wake up early! i know FOR A FACT he can get up as early as he wants, but normally he's a late riser

bakugou katsuki IS A NERD HE'S A NERD HE'S SUCH A NERD

as much as he called deku a nerd??? katsuki was almost as much of a nerd as midoriya wtf

his academics? STELLAR. his work ethic? IMPECCABLE. his consistency and perfectionism? UNMATCHED.

the only person he acknowledged by name without the other person introducing themselves is ochako uraraka (kirishima introduced himself multiple times along with mina, sero, etc. todoroki, he kinda had no way of NOT knowing his name seeing as he was the son of the top 2 hero at that time and shouto was his classmate. ofc katsuki wanted to make sure he was Better)

he is Handsome and has Great Fashion Sense (just pause all the times they're in casual wear. he's OUTMUGGING them all)

in the episode where they showed how aspiring heroes could send the hero commission costume designs, they showed katsuki's drawing along with iida's

the words scribbled around his drawing were:

"flashy!" "make it look strong!"

"full-body dynamite!" and around his grenades were notes like "start with something here/something comes out here"

and his spiky thing on top "something with an intimidating vibe"

Basile really knows what to do in these types of situations. He’s so patient, soft spoken, but without being too much. Having a mother who is bipolar can’t be easy but he’s still so bright and sweet

i can't help but think that translating is another great metaphor in this show. i thought about it when seongyeom said, "we can't fully understand each other because we are different people."

often, in the drama, it's highlighted that some things get lost in translation especially when you don't into consideration context and tones etc.

that's how it's with people. in a way, everypne speaks their own different languages and it can get lost or misinterpreted if you don't take into consideration that person's personality/nature. like so many things only make sense when it's seongyeom or danah.

just like languages have different nuances, people have too and sometimes, it gets lost. sometimes, you can't fully comprehend it because they are different languages but that doesn't mean you can't cross that language barrier. you just gotta put up with it because it'll happen.

sometimes, you'll not understand your partner but it's okay. it's okay because you are different people.
