Movie Night

It had been a month since Ichiyanagi had started living together with Hajime. The first two week or so it had been obvious to Hajime that Ichiyanagi felt like he had to hurry up and get back on his own feet already, but then something had changed and he had cheered up tremendously. 

Hajime hadn’t needed to ask Ichiyanagi what had happened, because he figured it was Ichiyanagi’s first pay check which had lifted his spirits. He couldn’t possibly not have drawn that conclusion after seeing Ichiyanagi wave his pay check around triumphantly. 

In celebration of how hard Ichiyanagi had been working, Hajime wanted to do something special for him today. Because Hajime had never done anything for someone else as a surprise before (other than getting them gifts), he had been worried about the execution of his plan. Fortunately, everything was finished and in place by the time Ichiyanagi arrived home from his shift at Burger Barn.

“Welcome home,” Hajime greeted Ichiyanagi as soon as he heard the door open. “I was thinking we could do a movie night if you feel like it. I got us snacks and everything.”

Hajime certainly wasn’t lying about the snacks. On the coffee table a bunch of different snacks and drinks were on display. Another noteworthy thing was that Hajime’s bed had turned into a pillow forth with an amazing view on his flat, full HD TV. The TV itself was already showing the home menu screen of Fullmetal Baalchemist: Braatherherd with it’s first opening song playing softly in the background.

   Although Maya had every intention of getting out of this creepy place as soon as possible, she recognized that progress on her investigation was pretty slow-going. Or, you know, nonexistent. It was hard to interrogate witnesses when they were all sheep, okay?

   The way it was, she didn’t think she’d be getting out of here any time soon, and that meant she had to start living here. Which meant food! Lots and lots of food. Thus, she found herself perusing the wares of Cereal Market, heading straight for the sweets because she was in charge of her own diet now, thanks very much.

   She saw the last container of triple chocolate chunk ice cream from all the way down the aisle, and her heart sang a sweet, sweet melody of chocolaty goodness. It was some sheep-themed knockoff brand (Brayer’s), but ice cream was ice cream and she was in heaven!

   With her dessert tunnel vision activated as it was, she didn’t realize that someone else was trying to walk through this aisle until she had crashed right into him. Like, straight-up bulldozed him into the ground and stepped right on his hand! She wasn’t surprised that she was capable of violence in the name of ice cream, but she was definitely embarrassed.

   “Eep!” she squeaked. “That was an accident, I’m so sorry!”

   “But if you were going for the ice cream, there’s more where that came from!”

Fellow Mage? (Closed - Sebastian Debeste)

His inquisitive investigation with a fellow ‘same time-period’ individual aside; Laurent was not one to question the how or why coming here. After all, he’d teleported to strange new places to assist friends before: he simply accepted that now was the same, and his friends wanted him to work with tomes here. As long as he could be useful to them, that was the main thing.

He didn’t want to falter in that goal now. Thankfully, he’d managed to find a map of the place from the ‘main castle’ swiftly: the main castle hadn’t been that hard to find. So with map in tow, he aimed to head for the library and get about organizing his work there. He couldn’t linger: besides. He saw no familiar faces of yet, and didn’t like feeling so alone.

Yet a brightly colored flash of red and blue that was so ornate it could only have been a fellow mage’s robes moved the bespectacled boy’s gaze. Ah...he didn’t feel as worried that he was the only one here, if there were other mages. Feeling relieved, he approached.

“I’m glad to see a fellow mage here - though I apologize if you were transported here at an odd time yourself. Ah...I-i’m getting carried away, I apologize if I was too upfront...” 

He’d gotten too excited, he hoped it hadn’t scared the other mage away.

                  The time for the Vernal Ball has arrived, and boy was he ready! Arriving quite fashionably late along with a suit that would definitely have him stand out, he knew this ball was the perfect opportunity to bask a bit in the spotlight he missed so much.

                                    “My time t’shine.”

                  With his natural charisma that stood out even better after a few drinks, Majima had cut through the small crowd on the dancefloor and soon became the center of the stage, proving that even after 30 years the ‘King of the Nightlife’ title sure wasn’t for nothing. With an upbeat song playing in the background, Majima’s moves were flashy and in perfect sync, and it didn’t take him too long to drop to the ground and even start breakdancing.

                                                                               He was just on FIRE!

Burger Barn Mystery

Who knew that studying law was such a rough task?

...Well, Phoenix knew, Edgeworth knew, Yumihiko knew...It’s not like she hadn’t been warned beforehand. Hah, oh well. She was in this for the long run. It meant a lot to her to help others, and a little self-sacrifice was just her cup of tea.

It’s after a long day that she found herself at a local fast-food restaurant. It was aptly named “Burger Barn”, from the wonderful burgers they served...as well as the barn-theme of the establishment. The big sheep mascot representing the company welcomed Lucina inside, and she took a look around.

She wasn’t a stranger to this place by now; she often came back from work hungry and tired, and restaurants were a good way to feed yourself quickly. The ‘quickly’ part honestly amazed the girl: they could serve so many people so fast and efficiently!

The state of Burger Barn tonight was...peculiar. She was used to efficiency. Fast service. No, uhm, yelling.

“I’M SO SORRY PLEASE HAVE A FREE DRINK, IT’S ON THE HOME-- HOUSE?” Lucina didn’t yell this, but the voice was familiar...too familiar.

Like the good girl she is, she got in line to order her meal. Once she reached the register, she was surprised to find Yumihiko working at it! Wait, wasn’t he a prosecutor? What would a prosecutor be doing working at Burger Barn? ...well, Phoenix didn’t make too much money, right? Lucina assumed that perhaps the prosecutor’s office was the same and Yumihiko was working part-time to make some money.

As luck would have it, the one working her line was the boy himself. “I’ll take the special Jalapeno Beltex Burger with a side of fries.” No issue there, sheeple: all burgers made at Burger Barn are actually vegetarian burgers.

Yumihiko’s reaction was that of surprise, but was a short-lived one. He was very serious about this job, it seemed. He took her order without as much as an unnecessary comment or a stumble through the whole thing.

The fact that Yumihiko was working here...this made Lucina too curious, and she managed to get out of him the time he would end his shift.

It was time to wait. She munched on her fries slowly, reading the newspaper.

4. What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?

that’s implying yv ever made dinner for himself or anyone else. if he ever actually wanted to make dinner (which is never,) he’d kick them out immediately. it’s his fucking mansion, he can cook whatever the fuck he wants. if he’s feeling nice, though, he’ll prep (a pretty horrible) dinner for his staff and anyone visiting. 

or order massive amounts of take-out. whichever comes out worse.

19. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

all of his life’s mistakes.................. haha jk. he usually has miscellaneous thoughts regarding the past day or shit he needs to do on the next running through his head. there are varying degrees of importance to his thoughts, but only a few things will keep him up at night. (like bendy. thoughts of bendy keep him up at night.)

There’s a rather familiar sticker on the plain letter paper. It seems a bit chosen at random, as if the sender didn’t really know which one would be the right sticker to choose. It’s a cute sheep wearing a hat. It seems rather irrelevant to the actual contents of the short letter, though.
