Fluid Cyanite Bucket Big Reactors by ErogenousBeef
Now THIS is a nuclear reactor. After gathering a lot of resources, I managed to build this three story monstrosity. The main benefit to such a huge reactor is that the RF output is huge, allowing it to spend most of its time idling.
From now on, this would provide the power for all of my machines.
I mean, I don’t disagree. Minecraft technically doesn’t NEED nuclear reactors. But, seriously. Shut up.

Big Reactors is a mod that provides high-end multi-block power generation systems. It uses Thermal Expansion’s Redstone Flux (RF) power system.
It was created, and is actively developed, by Erogenous Beef. The mod’s official website can be found at Big-Reactors.com, while the official Wiki is the Big Reactors page on the Technic Wiki.

SO MUCH POWER. My new reactor setup is complete and running at full capacity, with an efficiency of ~7340 mB of steam per mB of fuel, which translates to a whopping ~108kRF/t, or 89.9MRF per ingot of fuel.
At the moment I'm not making use of all the power, I'm only using about 40kRF/t, but I plan to make another few mining lasers (my first two pictured in the top image). At present I don't know if my yellorium delta is positive or negative, I'm going to work on that next.
Wow, getting my station's power situation sorted is going to be harder than I thought. I guess my reactor and turbines aren't as efficient as expected. The steam distribution between my turbines is all out of whack and I have each one running at different speeds, none of which are in the ideal RPM range. Not only that, but I think my reactor isn't producing enough steam to even run and maintain my turbines at optimal speeds. I'm producing around half as much RF/t as I expected, but I don't like how sloppily everything is running. I may have to sacrifice power generation in favor of smoother operations.
Heh. Who would've thought that nuclear physics would be complicated?
