It was kind of nuts how good Kit was doing at this gambling thing. You’d think that kind of rush would keep a player at the tables, piling their winnings higher and higher, but Kit knew better than to let it get in his head. Quit while you’re ahead as they say. And that’s exactly what Kit did. After his last win, he excused himself from the tables, wandering off to fetch himself a drink at the bar. A nice refreshing glass of water to cool himself down. But this was a fancy glass of water. There was a slice of lemon in it! Kit was poking at the perfectly cut wedge when he noticed Diego walk by, his brows jumping in interest.
