My Opinion on;

Character in general: I think Derek is either under-rated or overly misunderstood. I get why people might not like him or just not care about him in general but Derek has been the most consistent character on the show to display heroic values even if its not in the most conventional sense. And I always get mad when they dismiss or quickly diminish that characteristics of his because of his mistakes. I guess its why his whole show arc is one of my favorites. Cause you go from a dumb reckless power-hungry arrogant boy into someone whose willing to risk it all to keep other people safe. How they play them: God. Someone stop me cause I’m ready to write a whole novel. Idk. It just to me Derek has always been a smokey ashen figure; forged between fire and smoke. Never quite so simple. And to me Rose just captures it so perfectly. Like that struggle between both, the good and the bad, the human and the wolf, his past and his present. Derek isn’t an easy man to write. I’ve tried. It’s so hard to keep him strong when you know he’s soft and in the same vein it’s so hard to express how soft he is when he’s so hard. He’s such a guarded figure with so much love to give and Rose just manages to balance so well with her prose and her understanding of who Derek is. And I just looooove. Whether I’m reading our thread or their thread with someone else’s, it’s just sooo beautiful. They’re writing just knocks the breath out of me okay. The Mun: I looooooooveeee. Soooooo. Muuuuchhh. They’re so young and bright! It’s always so exciting when we do get to talk. She’s so lovely okay and so sweeet. And half the time, instead of actually plotting threads out, we just talk about movies. Alllll them wonderful movies and I’m so glad cause she likes the same things that I do! Which is hard more often than not cause I like some rather odd movies! But she gets me!! So happy to have this one in my life!

Overall Opinion: Seriously breath-taking writer. Don’t even have to love anything. Just read her writing and fall in love urself. Amazing.
