Ok so I'm watching Stranger Things with my sister. Specifically Season 2 EP:8 The Mind Flayer. Anyways in the beginning of the episode there is a scene where after Max has gone off with the boys, her mom sees she's gone. So obviously her mom goes and tells her dad, now this is where it broke me. Max's dad, I can't remember if that's right, I know it's a blended family but I can't remember who goes with who, goes and storms into Billy's room. Billy is listening to Metallica getting all pretty for his a date. He looks great with his leather jacket, necklace, and hair that looks like it's been soaked in beer and deepfried. He is just chilling.
But then Max's dad bursts in, pins him against the walls and starts screaming at him that Max is gone and it's all his fault. He is screaming, "Max was your responsibility, this is your fault." He punches Billy in the face. Bear in mind this is my second time watching Stranger Things and I don't really like Billy I'm more of a Steve girl myself but I almost started crying insert gif
Because in this moment I didn't see Billy anymore I saw Dean Winchester after Sam ran away. Context: SPN season 5 EP:16 Dark Side Of The Moon. One of Sam's heavens is in a motel with his dog Bones after he ran away.
And Dean is torn in two because he remembers what happened that night. He remembers when John came home and screamed at him. I watched what happened to Billy and I saw Dean Winchester.
I saw this baby terrified of his dad and it broke me.
