Billy and Jo Smith talking about Lamar Fike
I can't help it, Lamar's one of my favorites MM guys for what I know about him so far. He has such a friendly aura, doesn't he?
Colonel Parker, Lamar Fike and E. C. 1969.
E and Lamar. C. late-60s. This picture is so cute!
E and Lamar. Late-50s.
Red West, Lamar Fike and E in Germany. Late 50s.
And my favorites... E and Lamar onstage, 1973.
Pro-Am Jam Robby Robinson and Billy Smith
I rewatched the memphis mafia documentary and it reminded me of an edit I made for them a while ago
Red West is narrating and I think he just says everything perfectly…I can’t imagine how special it must have been to have shared a lifetime with Elvis Presley. I sincerely hope, if there is a way, that they are all together again <3
Happy 80th to Billy Smith! 🎉
j.b. moore as lieutenant hiram e. harris
robert rhodes as “brice” (idk who brice is, but rhodes says he’s based on a real person, so i will update this post if more about brice shows up in any released MotA stuff later on)
nick preston as billy smith (no rank or anything to clarify that! there were two william smith’s in the 100th, but neither of their crews have any familiar names. out of curiosity, i checked if the 95th had a “williams smith” (bc of research involving the 95th in past posts) and they had a Few, but none specific enough to say that they match up with this guy. then again, it could just be Some Guy named “billy smith” and we won’t know until the show i guess)
there’s also joseph passafaro playing a “rowdy soldier” lol
in addition to this, sometimes imdb reveals things in the oddest of ways. not only was lino (yet again) confirmed to be in the show via the stunts list (i guess it’s only a matter of time before imdb updates with who lino is portraying!), so was freddie stewart. and in line with expected pow episodes, oliver monaghan is portraying a luftwaffe guard. karl wilson is playing a hans williams, someone neither in the 100th or in any bomb group as it seems, therefore all roads lead to him being on the german side of things. finally, a french actor named yves heck has also talked on instagram about working with cary on MotA, though his website cv hasn’t mentioned it yet
also, @carninator-blog suspects that the regensburg mission in 1943 may be portrayed in either episode 3 or 4, due to jean achten being in those episodes (and how members of the resistance assisted the airmen in general)
