hi guys vix here! I’m calling unto community as I really need this by tomorrow as I do need my medical records as it’s important for me to get a full scope on the scan for myself as I’m starting to feel I’m being withheld certain information on my condition particularly scoliosis << we had briefly saw some info at our appt today suggesting there was way more to it than just “slight lower disc protrusion” in my back.

so please if you care, this is so important as I’m constantly experiencing misleading info, confusion, medical adversity, misrepresentation, misdiagnosis etc and this is a constant experience for black disabled people which leads into our conditions not only worsening but never getting the proper help we need. this subscription for life and simply accessing results that should be free! is insane and getting inaccessible or downright crummy healthcare is rooted in so much medical racism eugenics and more.

so please show up how you can for a black disabled agender lesbian and please reblog, show up with intent, redistribute funds if you can. literally anything helps 💛.

do yknow how exhausting it is to constantly have to advocate for your very fucking obvious disabilities? genuinely? like do yknow how aggravating it is to have literal supposed professionals and doctors watch you have both epileptic and non epileptic seizures especially stress seizures and minimize your involuntary face and hand movements as “patient was uncomfortable” and “they pressed the seizure button but just stretched their fingers” actively minimizing and ignoring the fact I HIT THE SEIZURE BUTTON??? BECAUSE I was having involuntary face and hand movement!! that wasn’t just discomfort and me being uncomfortable and “stretching my fingers” I WAS HAVING A SEIZURE!! or whatever something was going on with me?? that I couldn’t continue knitting and holding onto the string without my hands uncontrollably opening and closing. but yes. I was only uncomfortable and just “stretched my fingers”. I fucking love this little life of mine!

I’m just frustrated because my entire experience has been medical trauma discrimination misrepresentation dismissal invalidation forcemed and SO much more and as I’m in the process of determination with disability? having my symptoms misrepresented and minimized as something normal when that is in fact apart of my stress seizure episodes is inSANE and upsetting. it doesn’t help my case and equally minimizes my symptoms.
