We Tried 6 Foundations With The Same Color Name • Ladylike So mjuch truth in this video. White makeup industry’s need to make our foundation shade ranges sound like desserts. As if we’re something to devour. They don’t do this with makeup worn by white women. Second how the fuck can you get so many shades out of just BEIGE? Just how. Like almost 30 colors in Cover Girl, Maybelline, etc. Nude tones are always for beige skin. There are so many reasons as to why this makes zero sense. But i’m not going to sit here and go through a list. However i will say this. If there’s a nude foundation then wouldn’t that just cancel out all the reasons for having every shade of beige. Wouldn’t it just be beige with a different undertone. I simply don’t understand it. For a race that seems so hell bent on not being able to see color, they somehow managed to take their skin color which is Nude/colorless/beige and still come up with a plethora of shades.

And why the fuck do they insist on listing every nut imaginable for black women. Almond, Hazelnut,Brazil Nut, Walnut. And which walnut because there’s English and Black Walnut. You bite into either and they look like all nuts on the inside which is beige!
