Wohoo! First post in a while. Finally had some time to sit down and draw today! Got two markers drawn, and finished out the rest of the island forests. Felt a bit rusty, bit happynto be back mapping! From the notes of Historian Edwin Forthes- Breezewater Port is situated on the northern coast of the Embersand Desert. Though it's name denotes a pleasant place, it is a rather harsh place to live. Ravaged by frequent sandstorms, the people who call it home have grown resilient, and seem to have an immeasurable pride about calling it home, that is not found elsewhere in the islands. Being the most recent settlement in the Sailfolk Islands, it can barely be called a city, though the call of the dunes beyond the southern walls have brought many foolhardy people in search of adventure; Though many expeditions have left its walls to explore the vast sands, they have either perished, or been beaten back by the heat, thirst, and exhaustion.
