To have off on a Friday comes as a rarity and a blessing at the same time ─ one that Teagan intends to taking advantage of instead of sleeping or hell, even spend the entire day lying around in her house flickering between channels and groaning at her boredom. It’s how the spontaneous idea circulated in her mind on going to New Orleans and making the most of the day. Considering it’s been a while, roughly a few months, since her last visit to the city where she began to grow into who Teagan is today and is proud of the adventure life took her on, it would be nice to share this trip with Blake. Not only would it be one way for her to spend time with her friend before another life-shattering change took any free time from her but as well, a chance for them to get away from Olympus with all that’s looming behind them for a needed girl’s day.
After taking Blake to one of Teagan’s favorite restaurants for lunch ─ Bearcat CBD ─ the pair of females began to wander down the never-ending block of boutiques. The alluring store windows diverting their attention midst their conversation, making them ponder on whether or not to look further inside until Teagan voiced having no interest and for them to keep going. If it hadn’t been the last five shops, something will eventually catch their attention because what kind of girl’s day would it be if they didn’t go shopping? Perhaps a failure. Just as these thoughts danced in her mind, a shop with breathtaking entrance away with two white iron benches and potted fuchsia petunia’s brought a beam upon her mouth corners before heading inside with a gentle grip on Blake’s forearm and without a second thought.
As she scoped through the racks of clothes, for all sizes and different fashion styles, Teagan spotted a sea of maternity items in the back that may work for Blake. Maybe if her friend even loved something, the neurosurgeon could purchase it for her as a present. After all, it’s the least that she could do ─ something small but hopefully something the friend could wear. “What do you think about this?” Holding up an item in her hand, an arched brow lifts upon her forehead in curiosity. An index finger lifts in Blake’s direction to hold off on interrupting any of Teagan’s next words before giving her a chance to finish off her point. “Before you argue with me and try to throw a fit, which I won’t allow, if you see something you like ─ I’ll buy it for you. Consider it as a present for making time out of your day to spend it with me.”
