Star Wars: Poe Dameron
Issue 008
One of my favourite parts of Paranatural is being able to watch the art style change & develop as I read it, so here’s some side by side comparisons.
This is why I love The Glass Scientists; Henry Jekyll is portrayed like a man most people would've assumed; bright, happy, sparkling, a nerd and hiding a dark secret for reasons he cannot tell anyone. Edward Hyde is different. He's a smaller man with a bright attitude who could kill a man but step on a cat and cry and also eats chocolate chip cookies. But the best part of this version? Everyone forgets that Hyde was written as a /monster/. He's a broken fragment of Henry's soul who uses manipulation against Henry to get what he wants. And I fucking love it.

I FOUND SOMETHING AMAZING!
So, as I was scrolling through the recommended books ha of Tumblr, I can across this one that had a really kickass awesome art style, @smokeplanet. So I perused a bit, followed them, them found out that the awesome art I saw was from their webcomic. I thought, “What the hell. I got time and it looks beautiful.” LET ME TELL YOU! THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS EVER!!! I’m obsessed with this and cannot get enough! It’s called “Long Exposure” and it’s one of the best series I’ve have the pleasure of enjoying in a long time. It’s still ongoing, only has 3 chapters available to the public on @longexposurecomic. BUT if you’re a fan of supporting content creators and have the means to do so, there’s a patreon page for this webcomic where the author releases early-access pages of the comic privately to donators. Seriously go think about supporting it if you can, it is FAN-TASTIC!!! And if you’re like me and love to obsess about things like this and look up cool fanarts, fanfictions, etc. besides just putting in a tag to search on tumblr or googling it, there’s actually a third blog run by the author called @longexposurestuff where she reblogs all fanworks of Long Exposure. Obviously she can’t catch them all, because sometimes people upload things without using tags or they just name the comic and don’t tag the author, but she does a marvelous job trying to keep them all in one place! So I definitely recommend Long Exposure, go check it out because it will mess with your feels and it’s the perfect kind of series for bingeing all in one go and then crying as you wait for the next part!
This is a comic about the backfire effect.
