"Seek the sweetness of faith in three things: prayer, the remembrance of Allah, and the recitation of the Qur'an."

Alright, I don’t have the energy for a full rec roundup post right now, but I really hope all y’all that followed me because you agreed that web serials and LitRPGs need more LGBT representation are following CoCop on RoyalRoad. They have some of the best representation I’ve seen in a LitRPG— consistent across multiple stories, interestingly written, and nicely integrated into fascinating stories.
“Those who send the most prayers upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ are the ones who love him the most; for actions follow love. When a person truly loves something, they mention it often.”
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his children, his parents, and all of mankind.”
A beautiful subtle reflection mentioned by Shaykh Al-Shanqeeti
Sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ is considered a form of a person’s righteousness and kindness toward his father.
This is because the angel who conveys people’s prayers to the Prophet ﷺ says:
“O Muhammad, so-and-so, son of so-and-so, sends prayers upon you.”
Thus, a person becomes the reason his father’s name is mentioned in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ — and this is among the greatest forms of honoring and dutifulness to one’s parents.
I seek forgiveness from Allah for sins I have forgotten, yet are written in my record.
I seek Your forgiveness, my Lord, and I seek refuge in Your mercy and pardon—so write me among those You have forgiven.
I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty, and I repent to Him, for myself, for my parents, and for the believing men and believing women, and for the Muslim men and Muslim women—those who are alive and those who have passed away.
