Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger is Returning to Downtown Ann Arbor

Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger owner, Rich Magner, has signed a lease to reopen in downtown Ann Arbor.

Blimpy Burger will be located at 304 South Ashley Street, in the former Eastern Flame restaurant space with a goal of opening in late June.

I'm not sure if I'll get up to Michigan to say goodbye to Blimpy Burger, but I do want to express how awesome Blimpy was/is as a University of Michigan alum. It's places like Blimpy Burger that make going to college in Ann Arbor unique, and I'm disappointed people in the future won't get to experience it the way it was. I first went to Blimpy with my dad, during a phase where I wanted to watch people cook my food. With that directive, my dad took me to every display kitchen diner he could find. Many have closed, but the few that remain are some of my favorites. So, goodbye Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger. I hope you can find a new location and carry on your legacy! http://blimpylastsupper.com/
