Reginald and snakes... hmmm.... Imagine an AU where Reginald has snake like eyes that can lure anyone deep into his control and snake like fangs that can inject a paralyzing poison to anyone he bites. Reginald and the Toppats are a dangerous force indeed, but Cpt Galeforce has a plan. His name is Henry Stickmin, and he is for whatever reason of your choosing, immune to Reginald's gaze. Too bad this only intrigues Reginald's curiosity for the man.
Galeforce never thought he would be recruiting a blind thief to help him take down the Toppats, but there Henry was, holding on to the crates he was sitting on for dear life, not knowing where the hell he was. Galeforce took a deep breath before speaking to Henry, making sure to kneel down at his level. "Young man, the Government requires your help to stop a criminal organization."
Henry spoke up almost immediately "So you knocked me out cold, in my own apartment, and kidnapped me for a mission that I'm pretty sure you have capable troops for? Did you even grab my cane after kidnapping me?" Galeforce looked at Rupert, who only shrugged.
"Anyways, the reason we need your help is because you can't see, and that negates a major ability the leader of this organization has. We need you to go and bring this man alive back to us. Any questions." Henry raised his hand as he answered "You want me to go into an unfamiliar place, without my cane, and capture a guy I don't know the name of or what he can do and want me to somehow bring him back alive to you. By the way, did you forget that I am blind?! The reason I am successful with my steals is because I feel the place out a couple of times so I have a rough idea on what to do. Stealing an inanimate object is easier then stealing a person."
Galeforce just gave Henry a pat on the back "I know you can do it. We will get you loaded up in the ball so we can launch you at the Toppat Airship. Good luck out there." Henry just rubbed his head in frustration, flying in the air felt awful, this Government guy isn't listening to him and he has to go a capture a man alive and somehow bring him back here.
Before Henry could say anything, he was being pushed along, being told to watch his step despite the small issue of being blind and without his cane. Henry felt himself sat down in a chair and then he felt himself being thrusted forward. Henry could only hold on the best he could, the feeling of being spun and getting dizzy overtaking him.
Henry heard a loud crash and people yelling and weapons being loaded. Henry stumbled onto the spherical surface trying to find a way out. But apparently the people there grabbed him first and had dragged him out.
Henry stumbled onto the carpet, not questioning why he feels carpet and spoke "I'm not quite sure where I am, but I mean no harm. I was kind of forced into this by some old sounding guy that was from the Government and I don't think they understand the severity of the fact that I am blind and not some magic man."
The sound of footsteps and murmurs filled Henry's ears and soon he felt a hand lift his chin. "I've heard of you. Henry is your name, correct? Your reputation proceeds you. The Blind Crow Prince was an interesting nickname fellow thieves spoke of."
Henry felt himself being taken to another chair as the voice continued to talk. "I am Reginald Copperbottom, leader of the Toppat Clan or also known as The Snake King. I am quite interested in you, Henry and I would like to offer you a place in the Toppats. I know the Airship must feel weird to you, but we can help you get used to the Airship's layout and get you a specialty made guide cane as well. What do you say?"
Henry thought for a minute before giving his answer "I accept, though you might want to do something about those Government people that might be flying around nearby." Reginald only chuckled before Henry heard another much more lower voice reply that he was on it. Reginald lifted Henry up, his hand stroking Henry's hair before plucking out the Government earpiece and walking Henry away from the cockpit.
