There's no need to DM me explicitly to try to make friends. I am only here to do 40k. I don't want to be approached like that: I do not know you. If we haven't interacted (reciprocally) on posts before, just don't. If we have, or we're mutuals, you can; this post is about strangers.

Sometimes i become friends with people through prolonged discussing 40k with them, and that's my prerogative; I like discussing 40k. Some mutuals I very much treasure for their thoughts and presence. Some people I do DM often. Sometimes it is so fun to talk with a particular person that I start counting them as a friend. But that is something that happens organically! "Friend" holds a lot of meaning to me and I am not fast to call someone that.

Keeping my boundaries on here has always been kind of hard, I remember one of the first things I talked about was "DO NOT BE OVERLY FAMILIAR WITH ME". That still stands.

Like, I do enjoy interactions and chatting on posts and such. It's all "doing fandom" and great fun. If you have a request it can be an ask or an anon. I love interactng with anons and making doodles. I'm probably an odd one out in that I dislike being approached privately but I just. Hate it. Not by total strangers. If you have something specific to say, its more ok, a one time discussion is fine. But I truly dislike a stranger suddenly deciding to Get Through To Me. I'm very private and I guard my time. I don't want to chat about nothing. I don't want to make friends for the sake of having them; people are my friends only when I know them and truly like them.
