Sleeping wasn’t easy last night because of the heat; put the window on the catch but had to close it around three AM because of weird noises from outside which seem to have been a fox barking. Never heard it before, though we did once have a vixen screaming down the side of the house in the middle of the night which sounded like someone being murdered. *shudders*
