Volume 1-3 Gem Garden AU Redesigns

Ruby Rose

-Way shorter than her team mates and looks nothing like tai both are sources of insecurity.

-more ruffles adding another shade of red for a little more variety.

-I changed the crosses on her cloak to flowers as the crosses have felt a bit out of place.

Weiss Schnee

-pointy shapes for her prickly personality.

-I made her scar bigger and more noticeable mostly because it fits in the show.

-made the blue gradient on her dress a smidge more noticeable because I like it.

Blake Belladonna

-Look the fanus is racism works way better if more of the fanus are actually people of color. I feel like this is obvious.

-She uses her bangs as to obscure cat like eyes and also as a visual representation of the secrets she’s full of.

-Wears gloves out of habit from her days of crime in the white fang

-You can’t actually see it because of the posing but Blake’s button is now flower shaped

-Her eyes are the same yellow as yang’s hair

Yang Xiao-Long

-Not different from cannon but really looks like what if Tai and raven had a baby

-Made everything a bit more orange and yellow tinted kinda trying to evoke a bonfire color wise

-Notably taller than the rest, similarly makes her insecure as it reminds her of Raven

Ozpin and Glynda are so fiercely loyal and important to eachother that we thought their relationship was queer platonic. Ozpin has loved many people of many genders through his life. Glynda simply doesn’t have time for this romantic nonsense. Within the story Glynda isn’t really acknowledging the labels because she’s too focused on the mission. Ozpin is a little more aware of things.

Alright folks Mod Marigold here with a load of art for the BLSM AU relating to lesbian visibility week!

First up we have Yang struggling with compulsory heterosexuality at this early point in the story. We interpret her early party girl persona as a desperate attempt to feel normal. While Yang isn’t sure of herself now she will be in canon.

Sakuren wrapped up in there respective lesbians and He/Him lesbian flags. Fun fact Sakura has two moms and didn’t know straight people existed for a long time. As for Ren team JNPR by virtue of their inspirations demands gender fuckery so he/him lesbian Ren it is.

Lily is a loud and proud trans lesbian and hides nothing about herself because she’s incapable of lying.

The tea party crew is a very important friend group comprised largely of lesbians so I made a doodle of there cups but the tea is there flags.

Cute sapphic flag themed outfit for Maggie, as well as a poly pride pin and disability pride flag, Maggie is blind and even with assistance from her semblance often relies on a makeshift cane. She’s out she experimented with dating on menagerie she’s a poly lesbian buy just prefers the term sapphic.

BLSM AU Volume 1-3 Team JNPR

Jaune Arc

-Almost no changes from cannon!

-Less superfluous straps and belts & an extra white spot on the jeans for intrest

-Jaune’s design already really encapsulates his trying to too hard but is just a guy energy. If it ain’t broke don’t fit it.

Nora Valkire

-I had fun going ham with on her heart motif

-I also streamline her colors a bit replacing the blues with the same teal as her eye and the red bits with a darker shade of pink.

-Gorgeous princess who I love

Phyrra Nikos

-Changed to look more Greek due to her fairy tale origin

-Also made her skirt longer for practical reasons

-There is a subtle star motif in a few places since she is a rising star after all

-There were already some slight curves in her head piece I exaggerated them to make “horns” that make her seem a bit tougher or more aggressive looking

Lie Ren

-Another if it ain’t broke don’t fix it situation

-The pink streak in his hair is there because it’s Nora’s favorite color

-I really didn’t change shit I exaggerated his bangs and maybe made him look a little more feminine because at one point another character calls him the prettiest girl they’ve ever seen lol.

Oh the tea party crew they mean so much to me (even though they aren’t established in story yet) Sakura’s doomed crush on Ren, to Maggie and Blake’s mysterious past together to the wholesome solidarity of all 4 of them finding comfort in solace in just reading with eachother. This art shows off their dynamic so well and means a lot to me and mod aster big thanks to @manilapeaka123 for drawing it.

So the mods were yapping planning the fic and I joked that “it’s not fair Salem is playing in creative mode.” But then I realized the connection was disturbingly accurate as Minecraft creative mode makes you immortal and gives you access to spawn eggs(the pools that spawn grim) and also abilities like flight and command blocks (Salems magic)
