Happy Holidays, Sin!
Day 13 - for the tallest member of Starless, Sin!
Sin x Platonic!MC
Note: I have no idea how to write the way he sometimes speaks, so I apologize for that!

In the days leading up to Christmas, I found myself becoming more frantic when it came to giving gifts to everyone at Starless. Usually, I was waiting for items to come in the mail, other times the guys I was looking for were hard to find in the maze-like corridors of the shop.
Sin's gift was one example.
I had received multiple emails stating it was on its way to my apartment, only to be disappointed day after day. Finally, it came with todays post. A moment after I bowed and thanked the courier for delivering it and opened it to make sure nothing had been broken in transit, I wrapped it and hurried to Starless.
When I got there, they were making final preparations for the night's show. Everyone was working hard with only one hour until the doors opened to allow guests to take their seats at the tables. But there were a couple people I wasn't seeing, one of which was the tallest member of Starless and the one I was looking for currently.
Flaming red hair caught my eye and I hurried over to Sin's leader.
"Hi Kokuyou!" I called out to him, causing him to turn his head towards me. When all I got was a 'hey' from him, I pouted a little. 'What's his deal?' I thought to myself before shaking my head. "Have you seen Sin?"
He just shrugged his shoulders. "You'll have to look for him."
Akira, who had been sweeping the floor near by, walked over with one of his smiles that never failed to make guests want to swoon. Cuffing Kokuyou in the shoulder, the blue-haired man turned his gaze on me. "I saw him walk into the office a few minutes ago." I quickly thanked him and turned towards the office, but not before I overheard Kokuyou say, "She could have just looked herself. It's what she gets for being late."
"Ah come on, man. You're just jealous you haven't gotten a Christmas gift from her yet."
I chuckled to myself at the sound of displeasure Kokuyou made in response before I focused on walking to the office.
Unfortunately, I was a little late in doing that.
As I turned to look forward again, it was just in time to run into something soft, but solid. Immediately, I felt the gift in my hand start to slip from my grip as well as shouts of concern from the two men behind me.
"Oh!"
A split second later, a large hand was at the small of my back to steady my person, the other was pressing against the box to keep it in my hands.
I looked up and up, until my gaze was filled with silver and storm gray. "Sin! Thank you for catching me."
Steady on my feet once more, I faced him better and saw a hint of concern in his dark eye. "Are you well?"
"Yup! I'm glad I ran into you - metaphorically, not literally. Running into someone physically is rude. Here," I handed him the box I'd been carrying in my hands.
"My turn?"
"You've heard, huh? It is definitely your turn! I was just waiting for it to arrive so I could give it to you."
Sin took the box from me and straightened to his full, towering, height. I eagerly watched as he opened the box because I wasn't sure if he would even like what I got for him. He was such an enigma!
Inside, he found an intricately carved and lacquered box made of dark-stained wood, surrounded with thin cut, crinkled strips of paper for padding. The box itself was held shut by a C-shaped clasp made of brass. Inside, surrounded in padding and silk, was a china tea cup and saucer with trees painted in shades of greens and browns, and flowers in an array of different colors. When I first saw it, I thought it might be too feminine, but the more I looked at it, the more masculine it felt.
To go with the cup, there were samples of tea from three different places around the world.
I looked up at him as he examined the gift, and noticed a small smile on his lips.
Sin looked at me then and gave a small bow. In his deep, raspy voice, he said, "My many thanks, __________. To show my appreciation, I shall make a cup of tea for the two of us."
