Heres the thing, I think. I will spend a thousand nights drowning in my mind and wishing for a different life, but sometimes I'm holding a warm cup of tea with honey in it, and I'm sitting on the grass, and I am okay.

I have to say this somewhere cause I don't think anyone has specifically pointed it out yet, but in the first episode of Trigun Stampede when Vash is out of ammo I realized he was out of ammo because he got robbed and left for dead! I'm also just so happy Trigun is back and people love it cause I grew up with the '98 anime and read the manga and I'm so happy new people are getting introduced to it!

When it comes to RWBY, I have weird feelings surrounding BumbleBY.

Like, I ship it. I think it’s cute, and I believe it’s the ship that is the best for Yang and Blake respectively. It was also built up really well, despite what some think, and I’m really glad it’s canon. Straight up, if someone came to me trying to trash talk BumbleBY, I would defend the ship because it’s a good ship!

However, while I like BumbleBY, I don’t enjoy it, if that makes any sense. When looking for fan content, I won’t actively seek out BumbleBY stuff. It just isn’t something I enjoy to engage in.

To be fair, I don’t think this has to do with the ship itself; rather, it’s about the characters.

Yang and Blake, on their own, aren’t interesting characters to me. Now, this isn’t to say I don’t like them, or that I think they’re bad characters. I think they’re great characters, actually. But as characters, they don’t really resonate with me. I just personally find it hard to connect to their struggles and desires, not because they’re bad or unrealistic, but because it’s just not something that personally calls out to me. And since I personally don’t connect with Yang and Blake, it makes it hard to connect with BumbleBY.

I honestly don’t really have any good reason for posting this, I just kinda wanted to get my thoughts out on the matter. I guess it’s a lesson that you don’t have to hate a ship you find no enjoyment in.

I’d like to end this, though, by saying congrats to all the BumbleBY shoppers out there! I’m glad that it’s becoming canon, because it deserves it.

i like how we are technically alone in this whole universe and we are not even afraid of it and our curiosities have yet not reached its maximum level and there are so many places yet to be excavated and discovered and so much of the universe is still a mystery to us and instead of being afraid of it, we end up admiring it, calling it beautiful and how enamored we are of mysterious things. How vulnerable things don't frighten us but makes us take care of it, how a broken person is still considered beautiful and how we've tried to fill this planet with love and compassion.
