On Monday, December 17th from (time?), come by the stadium and say "thanks" to our outgoing manager, Jim Riggleman, who has been moved to the Cincinnati Reds' Triple-A team in Lousville, KY.
This is a great opportunity to meet Jim if you haven't already, tell him thanks for a great first season, and have him sign your 2012 Inaugural Season Photo Book.
We hope you'll join us for this fun time to celebrate and commemorate the 2012 season. Pick up your photo book at the Bait and Tackle shop in the stadium, at our kiosk in Cordova Mall, or at any Hancock Bank location. Blue Wahoos Winter Wonderland!
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos announce Winter Wonderland
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos announce the city's first Blue Wahoos Winter Wonderland. Join us on November 23rd at sundown for a grand Illumination with Mayor Ashton Hayward to get your first glimpse into the winterized stadium. Some of the details are top-secret for now, however Pensacolians should start sharpening their ice skates and practicing holiday carols. The Wahoos have lots of fun activities planned this holiday season.
A highlight of the Blue Wahoos Winter Wonderland is a special Christmas Eve Worship Service by Marcus Pointe Baptist Church.
"We are hoping to provide the community with a stadium full of activities to enjoy this holiday season. " said Shelley Yates Events Coordinator for the stadium. "Pensacola has a tradition of coming together during this time of year celebrating alltypes of festivals and events- we hope that our Winter Wonderland will become part of that tradition. " Yates goes on to say.
Blue Wahoos Winter Wonderland will go from November 23rd until December 29th Thursday through Sunday. Monday through Wednesday are available for Corporate Rentals. To reserve a group or arrange a party during Winter Wonderland call Charlie Ortiz at (850) 934-8444 x 200
Tickets for the Blue Wahoos Winter Wonderland are available at The Blue Wahoos box office or online at BlueWahoos.com. Single day tickets are $11.00 - Season Passes for a family of 5 are $180.00 (Please note that $1.00 from every ticket goes to the CMPA for capital improvements)
Event Details
We will have ice skating every day we are open, as well as a giant toboggan hill. There will be large game boards painted on the field for people to play: Checkers, Twister, Bowling, Tic Tac Toe. On Saturdays and Sundays Marcus Pointe Baptist Church will offer kids crafts from 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.. The West Florida Public Library will come and have story times available. There will be hay rides around the stadium. Movies will be shown on Fridays The Grinch, It's a wonderful Life, Polar Express, On Thursdays there will be community groups coming out to perform on our fish house community stage. Santa and Kazoo will come out on the weekends for photos. An artisan market hosted by First City Arts will be available on the weekends before Christmas!

Free Movie for the Public
Thursday, October 25th, 2012 - The public is invited to the Pensacola Bayfront Stadium for a free showing of "Madagascar 3 - Europe's Most Wanted" courtesy of Tri Gulf Coast. The movie begins at 7:00 p.m. on the digital board and guests are invited to arrive early and bring a blanket to spread out on the field. Families are welcome to bring gloves and balls to play catch in the outfield before the movie. There will be light concessions, beer and wine offered for sale before and during the movie.

Join Us for the Soul Bowl on October 20th at the Pensacola Bayfront Stadium
Join us this Saturday, October 20th for the inaugural football game at the Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. The Blue Wahoos are hosting the annual cross-town rivalry between two inner-city Pensacola youth sports at the Community Maritime Park. The Southern Youth Sports Association's Pensacola Tigers and the East Pensacola Rattlers will be competing throughout the day. The gates will open at 7am and the first game will begin at 8am.
General Admission is $6. Price includes $5 ticket and $1 City of Pensacola surcharge.
Children 12 years of age and younger are free.
Tickets can be purchased at the Blue Wahoos Ticket Office or by phone at 850-934-8444 Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
