Meet Jennifer Russell, our international recruitment guru. Jennifer has worked with international students for almost 20 years and she's learned a lot along the way. She recently returned from a trip to India (pictured) and explained what she likes best about traveling.

"Working with students from overseas is fantastic. I travel all over the world to meet with prospective students and their families. Some people say "the world is small" but I disagree. I think the world is huge! There are so many languages, religions, histories, cultures...I have traveled in more than 60 countries, but I still have so much yet to learn. The Bryn Mawr community provides just that opportunity."

Happy #WomensCollegeWednesday! Bryn Mawr has been empowering women to be leaders on campus and beyond for more than 130 years. In fact, alumnae from women's colleges, like Bryn Mawr, say their institutions were more effective in helping them become leaders than women from other types of institutions.

Catherine Bunza '18, a Traditions Mistress, explains, 'Bryn Mawr truly invokes confidence within ourselves as students, encouraging us to push out of our comfort zones to become leaders on campus. As one of the Traditions Mistresses, I could have never anticipated stepping into this role prior to my start at Bryn Mawr. But now, as a Junior, I have found myself more confident in taking on this role, especially through the support of my community. "
