Spring has once more sprung in what was once New York City, planting has started on The Farm, the first babies are being born in the Livestock Zoo, Green is spreading across Central Park, the pond has thawed, and snow has given way to warm sunny breezes and periodically rainy days.
The new Council has been voted in, and it truly feels like The Township has found it's footing in the middle of a wasteland. The mood is high all around, excitement brewing for the upcoming nuptials of Aggie Turner and Eric Sanders.
The Morning of April 20th without warning, all hot water is cut off to the third floor and below, including Rosie's Diner. A water boil advisory is pasted up along the atrium without any real pomp or explanation along with new assignments and plans:
Atrium level wall sconces will be turned off at 10pm to conserve power. (Pease remember there are no overhead lights, only wall sconces and emergency lights over stairwell doors. Lamps and various light sources are plugged into working outlets throughout the area.)
@viesanders, and @insainted (Mal) have been put in charge of construction to turn the common room into two separate areas. Butcher (npc) is around as a pair of extra hands and guard. The tower will be converted into a tailor for @odiedotdottieodette to maintain and design needed items. Everyone is free to trade/barter with It for It's labor but any tasks needed from Sada's crew are It's top priority.
The remaining area in the Common Room is to be turned into a library. The Good's Store will be cleared of all it's books and shelving to be used for this, as well as the libraries of uninhabited apartments, with a focus on Sub-Penthouse 11B.
The tower off the media room will be converted from storage into the daycare for the children, the responsibilities for this will fall to @birdiedrake and @hannahxinterrupted.
@ziggyturner, @beauclary, and @aggieturner's have an additional task of hanging laundry lines to dry clothes on the roof for the upper residents.
All Penthouse Laundry duties will fall to the shoulders of @pxtitxrosx until she gets too heavily pregnant.
Laundry for those who live above the third floor is the responsibility of @w0manstand1ng and @sarahshercohen. There are clotheslines throughout the Atrium to hang laundry out to dry.
Laundry for residents of the third floor is their own responsibility but there are extra clotheslines strung across the pillars in the atrium for general use.
@survivalxofxthexfittest(Oscar), @rioreeve, @lindsohalloran, and @santiagodiazmunoz are tasked with coordinating runs for vials and supplies with orders to take everything. James, the penthouse chef, gets first look at all food stuffs that come in.
@judahfisher and @jonahfisher will be assigned to the parking garage to reinforce vehicles there for future longer distance runs using Nik's car as a template to build off of.
@insainted (Gray) Is on tower defense, re-enforcing the streets around the building.
The Games tables in the Games room have been moved out to the Atrium to create a public square type space with the pool table in the very middle. The Games room is locked up in preparation to be converted into more useful spaces.
The Media room Theater screen and projector has been moved to the Ballroom to be set up for the guards and higher floor residents.
All exess guns and ammunition have been moved to Sada's Loft which is heavily locked down as armory. Only she and Jeremiah have the keys.

Sada and her people will not be eating with the general residents NOR at the diner unless they so choose. James Martell, the chef from the yacht will be cooking their 'full sized' rations twice a day with small snacks as requested.
Chia's eggs are now strictly for penthouse kitchen use.
All the best quality rations are brought up stairs.
All the alcohol is brought upstairs to the ballroom storage.
Rosie's kitchen is left with a tenth of the baking supplies, powdered supplies, canned goods etc, as well as anything too freezer burnt to taste good.
The building had been taken over by Sada and her people. @jeremiah-rose, @henrisolivier, @thedevilworksharder, and @survivalxofxthexfittest (JP) have been put in charge beneath her.
Sada and Jeremiah have moved up into the penthouse and offered a room to Dev and JP as well. Charlie brought Roman, still comatose, with her to join them upstairs. To be closer to her brother and under the protection of his association.
Everyone besides the aforementioned, @valeriixchen, @dixieclary, @judahfisher, @ruthellry, @hannahxinterrupted (and the children), @rhianwells, and @wellsinvesting have been placed in a two day lock down while logistics are figured out.
Sada and her people went from door to door demanding all their firearms. Even going so far as ransacking apartments if they don't get what they're looking for. (The apartments with the children are the only exception to ransacking while the children are present.)
@lindsohalloran and @judahfisher are tasked with the cleaning up of and incinerating of the bodies of the dead while under the armed eye of @henrisolivier and Dev.
@pxtitxrosx and @rosiesdiner have been kept from lock down as well to serve the 'Lieutenants' and to deliver rations to everyone but @postapocalypsemalone, @viesanders and @ashton-ryder who are left to go hungry as punishment for their actions.
Sada has taken control of the key to the W's alcohol, much of which has been moved to the penthouse and passed out amongst the loyalists.
During the lock down, Henri is shot by Lis. She collects Maddie and the pair make a daring escape from the building.
@emberwexley hasn't left her suite and refused to attend the first rations. After a private meeting with Sada she was allowed to remain in her apartment, which she still refuses to leave.
No one knows where @ashton-ryder is being held, besides the 'Lieutenants' who are aware he's being kept drugged in Sada's emptied out spare penthouse bedroom.
Upon the first rations after being released, which everyone is forced to attend, Sada makes her announcement of the new rules.
The door knobs to all apartments will he turned around and all keys are to be forfeited. Everyone not aligned with Sada will be moved to the third floor and literally locked down at 8pm.
Meals will go from thrice a day to twice to save rations. There will no longer be a lunch ration for anyone but the children (Sada's loyalists of course get real meals and food whenever they like), while the rest are given porridge/freezer burnt food/whatever the lieutenants don't want. (Snacks/sweets/etc are off limits to anyone but loyalists and the children.)
The hoard, led away by left over fireworks (hoarded by Sada) shot off from the roof, have made the building able to be left, but the streets within a several blocks radius are still heavily packed with chompers.
Runs will now be mandatory for all fit and able residents, the focus on getting other cases (and anything else of value) from the other buildings by any means necessary. Their lives/the lives of their loved ones depends on it. These runs will be supervised by Sada loyalists, who will be the only ones armed. Defectors will be shot and risk the same for the loved ones they leave behind.
Those not fit enough to go on runs will be put to work.
@beauclary and partner @ziggyturner, are put on roof duty. Cleaning it up and working the garden will be their responsibility. @aggieturner is left to her own devices more or less forgotten, and/or seen as harmless under Sada's eye, as well as protected by Jeremiah's favour. She is treated much the same as the children.
@sarahshercohen had been told she will now be focused on entertainment. Sada, a surprising fan of the artists work, has instructed them to write and perform music for her while she's in the public spaces. Otherwise they are on cleaning duty as well.
Every single resident is to give a fresh blood sample to @valeriixchen bi-weekly.
Anyone who tries to confront, disobey, or accost a lieutenant or Sada risks being shot on the spot.
Having followed the fleeing Chompermobile on it's desperate track back to The Wexley with it's cargo of beach survivors, a large portion of the massive horde now absolutely choking the southern tip of Manhattan has made it's way back toward the center of the city.
Unsure of where the vehicle that had outran them had gone to, the horde had instead funnelled into the streets, their meandering pace leaving their surrounding of The Wexley a slow thing at first. But, with windows open and the sounds of life filling the air above their heads, their instincts know they're close.
Within a week of the return of the survivors, the streets around The Wexley, and even the alley that's their only entrance and exit, are absolutely crowded with nearly shoulder to shoulder chompers. The smell is vile, reaching up to to the sixth floor before getting any better at all. The sounds of them is worse, forcing the lower residents to close their windows.
Entering or exiting the building is impossible, and all residents have now found themselves imprisoned in The Wexley.
The plot drop will be in effect until further notice. No runs or exiting the building will be allowed or advised as even opening the door is sure to have the building flooded with chompers.
On the night of the bat swarm, Robert 'Bob' Jenkins managed to connect the center elevator to the building's power supply, making it functional once more.
This is the elevator that goes to the top floor of the Penthouse, but the Penthouse levels can only be accessed by keys held by Tobias Wexley Sr, Kaiden Malone and Ivy Emerson.
The sounds of all the chaos in the Atrium drowned out the soft ding of the elevator's arrival, the doors sliding open slowly to reveal @sadavang in the middle, draped in scarlet red Valentino, cane in one hand and her other wrapped nicely around the support of one of @henrisolivier. Henri on her left, @valeriixchen behind her on her right and @dixieclary at her back.
Pausing, they all seemed to drink in the mess before them, not a hint of surprise on Sada's face as she turned to look over at Henri with a knowing look before he helps her step off the elevator, a large silver case in his other hand. Nodding to Henri she took the case from him while he and Val moved one of the hallway tables that lined the Atrium walls and moved it behind her, unnoticed by most it seemed, screams of pain and anguish, sobbing and groans of pain the chorus of their distraction from them.
Handing the case back over to Henri so he and Val could start setting up, Sada's eyes skipped from face to face before landing solidly on Ashton and Jeremiah, narrowing before moving on.
And when finally she felt they were ready, Sada lifted her cane and brought it down hard onto the Atrium tile in three heavy and jarring bangs that reverberated through the open space and it's off shoots.
