Yoohyun's hostility towards Hyunjae is really funny to me, because while most people likely view it as being a result of Yoohyun being a jealous brocon (and that is definitely a big part of it don't get me wrong), another aspect of it is like, Yoojin and Hyunjae are insufferable about each other and they're constantly pulling their bullshit right in Yoohyun’s face. Imagine if you had to watch your older sibling flirt aggressively with the most annoying guy you know on a daily basis, and the worst part is your brother won't even admit he's doing it. Any reasonable younger sibling would be driven to homicide.

i like the parallel in the subject and tone of these two different scenes. i feel that it perfectly distinguishes harrow and nona as different yet so similar at the same time. both of them view a level of pain and/or suffering by worthiness. both fear death as a finality (specifically, harrow is burdened by the finality of death while nona hates the physical impact of death as well as the dread before the plunge). i think about these scenes a lot.
