Border Collies

Hello tumblr. It kinda feels like pumpkin season. I got a pumpkin door mat. Its been raining and cooler. Pumpkin spice is out at starbucks but I havent bought any.

I feel like I cant catch up on sleep. I survived my night shift but..its..bizarre..and difficult to explain...and ofc the expectation is to keep doing it..

anyway, my grandmother died. My grandfather is in the hospital with covid. The other day the doctor told him he'd need to be intubated but he's still hanging on..he's still posting on facebook and says he's feeling better as of yesterday. He was vaccinated which given his age and health history he isn't a good candidate for the flu let alone covid..so..yeah...families been a bit of a mess. My sister moved back home with mom and I'd like to go visit.

I have to go pick up my husband from the airport on saturday (maybe we can stop by the art store!). Haven't seen him in months.

I feel a wee bit guilty neglecting my tiktok. I'm enjoying tumblr again, just a more bloggy atmosphere which I've been missing.

I'm kind of just taking one day at a time and not planning a whole lot.
