2025 - A Silent Princess only thrives in the wild. How does Zelda handle waking in a world so different from what she knows? @deuynndoodles

2040 - Tears of the Kingdom Zelda is returned to Hylian form early, timed around the events of another game in the series (can be right before or in middle) and observes/interferes/interacts with the events of that game. @muddledmage

2030 - BOTW/TOTK Zelda's time disembodied (100 years in the castle) and draconified has left her profoundly dissociative. Link has loved her before and after. @playingforward

There is a woman on the road.

Normally Link would run, his portrait (or near enough, the pink hair is accurate the nose is not) is posted everywhere, the guards are hunting him. He's still got the scar from trusting the wrong person.

But there is a woman on the road, and she is alone, and not carrying anything, and it's gonna rain.

He doesn't think she's bad. There's something that draws him to her like he was drawn to Princess Zelda. It's going to wet and cold and he doesn't want to leave her here. Be brave. If people hadn't stood by while Agahnim built power to kill the king and imprisoned the princess he wouldn't be in this mess.

So he leaves the ruins and runs to the woman, just as the rain starts to fall.

She lifts her face to it like it's an unfamiliar thing and suddenly he's unsure. She's short and blonde and dressed in some odd dress and jewelry. A foreigner?

Link steels himself again. "Um! Ma'am are you okay?"

It takes her a long moment to lower her eyes and look to him, the rain starts to pour down in earnest, soaking him through. She does not seem bothered by it in the slightest, though he starts shivering, he needs to find shelter soon. Probably needs to risk a fire.

She smiles at him, she has a pretty smile but it's waaaay out of place. He probably shouldn't leave her on her own, so runs over to grab her hand.

"Come on," he tugs her along, "we need to get somewhere dry. Do you live nearby?"

"I don't think so," the woman replies, finally speaking. "I think… I had a long dream."

"There's a bridge we can hide under during the rain, then we can get you somewhere safe in the morning okay? I don't have much food but we can make do for one night!" Link nods firmly, trying to instill confidence as he mentally parts with his last apple.

"You're a good boy," she considers, "what's your name?"

He doesn't know what compels him to answer truthfully. "Link."

"Link." Her smile is like the sun. Beautiful and bright and dangerous, the flutter in his heart is love and fear. "Link, there is such darkness in this land. I think I shall bring back the Light."

While I don’t frequent the Charged Set, it’s def my favorite in visuals! It’s a pretty popular choice but I can’t bring myself to not adore it.

(I know I gave him shoes here (didn’t wanna draw feet ow) but did anyone else not notice his little painted finger and toenails at first??? So cute)

Decided to make child Zelda to go with my child Link au (along with a small Child!Link redesign).

Zelda's crown is inspired by the past child Zelda's, with her outfit primarily taking inspiration from OOT and WW Zelda's outfit while also making it seem a bit more on the simple side cause this is post BOTW
