The procedure
After playing an amazing 3 inning game, DM and his teammates defeated Sandstone 18-3! During the game, myself and some other parents noticed DM was limping. Of course I asked him what was wrong. He stated that while at camp he walked through the woods barefoot from the lake to the campsite, and he was pretty positive he obtained a sliver. Naturally I told him to suck it up and I’d look at it when we got home.
Let’s just say Sarah beat me to it 🤦🏼♀️
Sarah was unsuccessful. We resorted to Uncle Peter, Uncle John, and Uncle Tommy. Together they pulled a 2 1/2 inch THORN out of DM’s foot. Crisis reverted.
