The transformation of Wiggins from scrawny track rider to Tour de France winner always seemed more remarkable than the rise of Lance Armstrong. Team Sky with its emphasis on dominating, secretive training and in-house medical testing always seemed suspicious as well. Froome going from unknown African rider to Tour winner in a short period of time always raised eyebrows as well. Far too many red flags with Team Sky and too many similarities to US Postal/Discovery/Astana.
