Gameplay –
The first stage on Easy mode provides a tutorial that gives you all the information you need to play this game. Basically, click on two squares to turn all the squares in that line from blue to green. When two such lines drawn overlap, the overlapping squares will be turned back to blue. The main objective of the game is to imitate the pattern of blue and green squares shown in the image in the shortest possible number of moves.
There are three modes of difficulty to this game – easy, normal, and hard. (Noob people like me get stuck in easy mode…) If you’re stumped completely by this game yet desperate to solve the puzzles and progress through the game, you can purchase solutions by real cash!
Review –
A good point of this game is that the simple layout does not distract from the pure challenge of the game. It ultimately serves its purpose as a mental exercise for lovers of intense puzzle games.
This is one of the most challenging types of puzzle games I’ve played. Okay, so maybe I haven’t played that many real and intense puzzle games (I’ve more or less only played casual puzzle games like Cheese Tower), but my point here is that it’s a pretty difficult title. Brain Squares is definitely recommended to all those who love a good mental challenge, and those who just can’t get enough of puzzle games.
