A home from home

Week 1 was wild its well documented with everyone’s Facebook pictures being equally as ridiculous as everyone’s else’s and the story’s of last weeks Bangkok madness keep on coming. Now, however we have all moved and have been split up into our mini teams to try and pretend to be teachers. Some people have had a rough deal with no flushing toilets (a very over looked must have item for today’s modern guy or gal) and beds made of bricks. I have a sweet deal, nice location that seems to be the meeting point for shenanigans and good transport links (well as good as they can be, at this stage I would hug the manager of Arriva trains wales).

The area I am staying has some amazing countryside and all that jazz but the funny thing is I seem to be living in place the size of Shropshire with the mentality of Church Stretton, I simply can’t get away from the cockers and dingers, every country has them in spades. This is no way a bad thing, we are getting familiar with the locals and we have our regular spot for meals. We have a street vender who we have named ‘Debora’ she does not speak a lick of English but can talk for Thailand, I bet she has told us how to cure cancer but we cant understand her, so we smile, nod and tuck into her egg and chicken, which is prime to say the least. We also have a little place right outside our front door which is even worse for communication and all the bring over is BBQ chicken for us westerners, we have dubbed this place “Lassiter's” for all the old school Neighbours fans. The funny thing is the lovely Australian girl who is my new ‘roomie’ (well she lives in our block and is one of the crew) does not recall neighbours at all! What’s the deal with that? I guess it’s like me not having any knowledge of football. But its still odd as I thought they all had shares in the show.

Next week we start teaching and I still have not got my tweed jacket and arm patches but I do have a teacher name (which you have to have) which is ‘Teacher jay”. I am teaching Kinder garden and god knows how that is going to go!

I may be deported or I may be a hit, its touch and go at this stage.

Whatever the state maybe

My new home recorded EP "Etiquette" is shaping up to be really nice but I got 2 weeks until I up sticks and move to Thailand for 5 months so this is my last set of tunes for a while then its anyones guess to when I can make more.  

The mix may suffer form this last rush to the finish line but its all its charm and I think I will let myself off for this one. I also have a few tunes recorded in a ok state to put out while I am away, the only reason theses tracks will not be included as they did not fit the feel of the EP they are great tunes but just don't fit in but are little treats.   

I got a new video in the oven which has a very different feel to it from the SY6 work as the track is co-written by a partner in crime deville which is totally different from other tracks that have been in video's I think people will accept the change as even tho its different it is also very familiar to earlier works.

Ettiquette is almost here and I cant wait for people to hear the Tunes. As allwasy get my music for free right here.
