We're up to 43,000 words for Consummate Aesthetics, more or less, and things are going pretty well (thanks to @jedimordsith talking me through hiccups).

Have some dramatic contemplation from our protagonist today. Technically five sentences maybe, but so long I think they count, and giving you the before or the after may *cough* spoil things.

It was a lethiferous passion that hollowed her out, turned her unrecognizable with its ferocity. That night, all delusional armor was shredded, its defense unable to withstand the cutting reality. The months since had only evidenced she was more broken than whole without him, but still it was not this love that undid her... it was the helpless failure to unlove him.
