{text} I binge drank coffee last night. That's better than binge eating ice cream right?
[text] Binge drinking or eating anything is bad. Did it make you feel better, though?

[text] Binge drinking or eating anything is bad. Did it make you feel better, though?
{text} do I HAVE to wear a mask?
[text] Yes. There is absolutely no getting out of it.
{text} I may or may not have a date this week.
[text] That’s great! Do you know what you’re wearing? Where are you going? Who’s the lucky girl? When did this happen? Who asked who?
[text] And yes, I expect an answer to each of those questions.
Overnight - Brett and Kale
He blinked his eyes groggily. Kale had forced himself to sleep as soon as he got home from his day at the school because one of the nurses had called in sick. He would be taking her overnight shift at the hospital. Who needed sleep? Not single guys who had to take care of their mothers while paying off student loans, that's who.
After making it to work, barely remembering to brush his teeth, Kale checked in on each of his patients. Fortunately, they all seemed like a likeable bunch. That being said, Kale seemed to like most people - especially people who needed him. As he went into the last room to check on a patient, he realized that she was one of the students at the school. Rather, she was the student, the one who had been attacked. He breathed in deeply and made sure to smile as he walked in.
He came in quietly, in case she was sleeping, and checked her chart. She wouldn't need her bandages changed tonight, but the chart advised that she should have access to pain killers. Also, she shouldn't have anything that thins the blood. Despite her being a minor and in the hospital, the doctor felt the need to add that she was also not permitted to drink alcohol. Kale smiled at the thoroughness. It was unnecessary, but kind of cute.
Movement in the corner of his eye told him that she, Brett Freeman, was awake. He met her gaze and greeted her while smiling, "Hey Brett. I'm Kale. I'm going to be your nurse tonight." He took a look at her monitor and saw everything looked fine. "If you need anything, even just someone to talk to, let me know."
Doll You Up (Lydia & Brett)
It was odd heading over to the Stilinski house to see someone besides Stiles. Brett had moved here over a year ago, but Lydia had simply brushed her off as another weirdo. It was only after Stiles pushed them together enough that the redhead finally decided to give her a chance. She was odd, and they didn't have too many of the same interests, but Lydia was sort of fond of her. Which is why she decided to make Brett her knew project.
Lydia had run home to grab a few of her own dresses, just in case, before driving over. As much fun as a night out sounded to Lydia, it was obvious Brett wasn't nearly as thrilled. The girl had acted excited though, so Lydia would feign ignorance until Brett said otherwise. You lie to Lydia Martin, you better be prepared to deal with the consequences.
She rang the doorbell and waited, shifting her bags in her arms. While she was over she also intended to talk about Stiles. Obviously she'd underestimated just how much he'd freak out when she said yes to the date. Sure, Lydia knew he'd been crushing on for way longer than he should have been, but she thought that he'd been getting over it more. Perhaps Brett could offer some insight into how crazy Stiles would be... if she was lucky the initial freak-out she saw was the worst of it.
"Brett! Hello, I brought over some of my clothes, just in case, you know?" She walked into the house with the confidence of being there often, which was something else she never thought would happen. "Ready to get started?"
