Maybe I should have followed him; but somehow it went from too soon to too late, without the right moment in between.
I'm reading The Silence Factory by Bridget Collins, and it's very fascinating, I still like how captivating her storytelling is, but man... she is so didactic with the (I suppose) gay romance(s).
So far nothing has been spellt out that much yet, I'm still around the 1/3 of the novel, yet I'm 90% sure Henry's and Sophy's stories would turn into a gay romance. But idk, maybe it's just me but one can build relationship without one character randomly seeing the other naked with bulging eyes. Or outright worshipping the other person with very suggestive thoughts after like a mere few days of knowing him.
And before anyone comes at me, the suggested, behind the curtain hetero sex scene was again very didactic and cheap way to justify pregnancy in the very next diary entry.
But we are yet to see how it all unfolds...
